Local vs offshore

Which do you prefer?

Both have benefits and disadvantages. Local can get ya into some trouble but it's nice when you win you pick that cash up. Offshore has more options...

combination of the both... u should have money sitting offshore if you really play... but you should also know a local... i am lucky to have a local that uses an SBR approved A+ book.. so in that particular situation its the best of both worlds...

I like both as well. I use to use a local but that can be deadly for me, I have no money management and owed a lot as opposed to If I have offshore like I do now, once you lose your deposit then your done as opposed to playin on credit with a local. But there is nothing better than winning 2k from a local and picking up that cash.

I used to use off shore but 1 local is really solid he has a web site takes all the guys where I work most of them
make good money over 65k avg paying and collecting usually isnt a task. Every once in a while one guy gets burried but he just puts him on a plan. One guy got stuck about 8k and got out on a NYG future bet lol.
Bottom line is I know the guy is solid as a rock and I like getting paid every 2 weeks and still being able to go online to bet. He isnt connected with CR he just had a site built if you need something you cant get you call him.

Yeah guy I use to use, just text him the line you want then text him bet. Use to use bodogs lines.

Actually it's the same except fees offshore

You can pick up cash at ** same difference

Also some offshores pay you back on debit cards

it depends where you live. I live in southern california where asian gambling is so huge. i currently have 5 locals. 3 of them offer -105 on whole game, 1st half, 2nd half. one offer -103. and one which i use the most offer -105 with a 10% rebate on total loss for the week. so, books like 5dimes are useless to me.
btw, these are backed by wealthy local business people that own supermarket and legit businesses. so go to a poker room and get to know an asian agent and you'll have 3-5 books offering -105.

Never used a local website. I'm guessing only registered users can access site. You have no funded account balance, bet w/e you want within a limit, then settle your figure every week or 2?

Sounds like heaven. 5D would still be a must for me with best US live options.

definitely, if i didn't have the local options, i would go with 5D. they use pph sites. my locals are from santa ana, orange county area. but i have friends in san diego and san jose (northern cali) that all use -105. -110 is unheard of in the asian community. however, baseball is a little tougher to get dimeline.

The PPH sites all generate from the same 3 places mainly and all then customize it to their customers/markets

Betting with locals still risky as a no pay is much more likely vs offshore solid books especially larger amounts of money

there's risk with anything dealing with gambling. there are offshores that used to be A or B book that went out of business or struggling like WSEX,vip etc. jjgold, unless you have pinnacle, these locals are as good as gold. like offshore, you have to do your homework about these locals. there are a lot of wannabes, but there are a few that control the whole southen california. these guys aren't your 5-10nl poker players that decide to be bookies, they are well respected business owners within their community.
