Is is true you were able to deposit money into a book in minutes? How long was it to take out money?
Can someone tell me about the great days of netteller in the US?

#3it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. The instacash feature was best, up to 10 dimes into a book instantly and they took the money from your bank account a day or two later.
Getting money out was fabulous too with their DC.
Alas those days are long goneComment -

#5moving money around anywhere you want, however you want, super easy in minutes
DC could withdraw cash from neteller easy
but US citizens are not capable of handling something like that which is why you cannot have it in the US anymore, and Bill Frist, John Kyl, Robert Goodlatte, and others understood this, and they did the right thing
people in the US should not be allowed to use Neteller because they cannot handle itComment -

#8The problem with bitcoins is you have to buy the bitcoins and the price fluctuates, the you deposit into a bitcoin sportsbook instantly. I tried it this week and I didn't like it. Plus you can only see how much you're betting in bitcoins, it doesnt tell you how many dollars you are risking, only shows you how many bitcoins you are risking.Comment -

#9Where have you been?
Several threads in this forum have discussed bitcoins and the books accepting them.
Anyone can use them but for the life of me I can't see why anyone other than Americans or criminals would.Comment -

#17NETeller is the foremost and the best that ever happened in pertaining to "parking" your funds to and from any offshore accounts. It became so huge that even BkofAma got involved in it. You could go to any BofA branch, simply get a deposit form and load funds.
But when CEO Ron Martin "got hot" after moving close to 94 million dollars worth of transaction, DOJ and FEDS closely move in and shut down the whole organization.
There were some rumours saying that some of the account holders had $100,000 in their accounts and got frozen.
What puzzled me most, Ron Martin went down but BofA is still alive! -)Comment -

#24He's right that it's easy in that sense but only a few books offer it that are not any of the mainstream books we know. The main one is bitcoinsportsbook and btcsportsbet.com
If 5dimes or Heritage took it I would use it exclusively.Comment -

#25No they don't accept it. Brock, if you knew how to use BTC properly and knew exactly how to move your money with it, you would embrace. It's the best thing since The Richie Cunningham haircut was introduced.המוסד

#29So true. You guys need to put aside your "meh, it's risky" or "i don't understand it, therefore it's a scam" and really try to use them. Neteller was always at risk being centralized. Even if the US govt didn't shut it down, the CEO could have stolen all the money (FTP anyone?) or their servers could have been hacked and a million other things could have gone wrong.
Bitcoin is decentralized, fast, essentially free, anonymous if you take the time to understand how to use it, and cannot be shut down a la Poker sites.
Been having good action at btcsportsmatch - the bitcoin exchange like site. No vig, low fee, and fast transfers. Give it a shot, Illini is right.Comment -

#30It was so powerful to me the first time I did a transfer from book to book and it was done it like 3 seconds. Also a btc is worth 5 bucks, how fukkin hard is it to multiply the number of btcs wagered times 5 to get the USD amount?
For people who are worried about BTC price fluctuation, just convert your btcs to USD via your wallet like LR or DW, so easy.Comment -
