This Aaron Craft Kid is Kind of Stupid

Guy seems to have a great heart and a solid motor but for a guy who is supposed to be a PG he can't hit a lay up for sh*t. Must have missed lay ups or had them blocked on 6 different occasions in this game.

Even when he missed the free throw on purpose at the end.....he got the ball back and still couldn't lay it up off the glass properly for the ball to go in.

WTF.....kids takes too much sugar or something before every game?

I also am kind of annoyed how he always calls these huddles after every foul like he's their real head coach and can drop some knowledge on how to play on these other studs.

While I will agree his decision at the end was strange considering you should know it must hit the rim before the shooter can move, the kid is an Academic All-American the first of which for OSU hoops in a long time so stupid he is not. What it comes down to is you can be as smart as a Rhodes Scholar but those split-second decisions in the heat of battle get the best of most.

he is playing up the floor general act a little too much, doubt he is relaying any info. and he played a big role in the loss got spanked several times inside the last 10 minutes and total botch on the intentional missed free throw. and great closing shot of him standing there with the clock running out complaining instead of at least trying to get a steal last 2.9 seconds.

That if anything was the most puzzling/troubling, instead of trying to get one last chance even if it was unlikely they gave up.

Thomas was a non factor 6 weeks ago. He was nowhere near their best player back then. He came on strong in the tourney. Realize that everyone can't be Mark Lemke and stink it up and be average during the season and be lights out when the pressure is at the highest level.

If he doesn't take all of those contested outside jumpers, the game is probably never close. He kept Kansas in it by thinking he was Kobe Bryant.

Craft had a lot of open shots. The only fault I put on him is that he should have realized passing the ball to Thomas was a much worse decision than pulling up for a 3.

Craft had a lot of open shots and did not pull the trigger. Leads me to believe he could not shoot. That is 4 on 5 basketball, might as well give it to Thomas if you are too lame to jack up open jumpers and threes. Give to someone who will shoot it, albeit miss it, versus the guy who won't shoot it at all.

Diebler was a shooter, nothing more. Craft is the best on ball defender in the NCAA and he's only a sophomore. If Craft ever matched up with Diebler, Diebler would be on lock down.
