    Is BetBBB defunct?
The website brings up a message “This domain name expired” and when I called I got a recording saying they’re closed for the night and that they open at 8:00 AM.

They’ve been pretty screwy the last few weeks in general (juice seemingly changing randomly from game to game between –107 and –110 or on baseball between 10 and 20 cent lines, started charging for Neteller withdrawals that used to be all free, limits cut, etc.). I have a small balance there, so hope they’re not defunct entirely.

They’re connected somehow with Heritage as I recall.

I’m still investigating, but it’s looking better.

Though I get that message saying they’re closed on the customer service number, and the website is still gone (though the message from GoDaddy has changed from the domain being “expired” to “This page is parked free”), I was able to get through on the wagering line, which is shared with Heritage.

They claimed no knowledge of problems with the website or the customer service phone line, and they had my correct balance.

I was eventually transferred to customer service, where they again at first said they were unaware of any problem. Then they said they said they were trying to log in to my account from their end and failed, then after putting me on hold they said something vague about “working on the site.” I noted that it wasn’t a matter of not being able to log in, but of the site itself not existing any more at all because apparently it expired when they didn’t pay the bill. But they could only say “we’ll look into it” as far as that or the recording saying they’re closed.

I asked if I could do a withdrawal and they transferred me to yet another person. He was very nice, though he too could offer no insight into why the website was gone or why callers were getting a recording that they were closed.

I possibly did get a little bonus out of the situation anyway. I asked him why they had switched to charging for withdrawals, and he looked into my account history, noticed I had been charged for my last withdrawal, and put the $15 back in my account. So I’m not sure if the charge was an error in the first place, or it’s on a case-by-case and he decided to do me a favor and refund it or what.

He said withdrawals are only done online through the Neteller site, so I’m going to put in a request now for most or all of my remaining balance.

      TLD,

BetBBB is backed by Heritage so you shouldn't have anything to worry about as far as your funds go. I'm told the site should be working normally by the end of the day.

Thanks Bill. Hopefully they can wire some money to GoDaddy or whatever they need to do to re-activate the domain.

My withdrawal is currently pending. I’ll post when it’s processed. They’re generally pretty quick and efficient with their transactions.

Actually they’ve been a decent book for me, always very fair. A lot less useful to me since they cut the limits and started bouncing the vig up and down unpredictably, but not a book that’s ever screwed me over, or anyone I know of.

The money is now in my Neteller. I left $100-$200 in my account to screw around with.

As I say, in my history with them they’ve been consistently fast and accurate with transactions.

I used them more for football and basketball, not much for baseball. If there are no warning signs between now and then, I’ll consider reloading a modest amount for football.
