bet as much as your bankroll allows.

i started with 2 dollar plays, worked my way up, and now i play $100 units. most i've had on a fight was 1500.

MMA lines used to be very exploitable on the underdogs but over time they have evened out. Unless you somehow have inside info but the same you would any other sport.

The village needs a new math whiz with aspergers to counter you...

My answer to the OP's question is, this:

Double the amount you have under your name.

MMA is truly unpredictable anymore, not like it use to be.

zero, theyre all scripted. Until theyre like the WWE (which you can also bet on) and know the results for sure they arent worth it.

                          This...

start small in proportion with your bankroll... As it grows increase your bets at the same proportion. Everyone has a different max bet % that they decide on when in ratio with your bankroll. Mine is high at 25% of my bankroll, but I have yet to lose a bet like that. Not as of late, but when my bankroll was smaller I bet around 50 % on occasion (1100 on cruz over faber when my bankroll was prob only 2.5 k or so, and got really stupid putting around 1300 on munoz over maia when my roll was prob around 2k). Therefore if you're really confident in a match I've broken the rules and gone denerate betting a larger max bet %, but its paid off so far... so if you've got 2k as your bankroll, I wouldn't bet more than 500 max on a fight... I think most people's max bet on a single fight is 10% though and their max plays for an entire event is around 25%...

And with the trends I've been seeing in the lines - very juicy high prices on favorites that would have once been -200 seem to always now be around -350/400 - you might want to stay small and stay away from these pricey fav lines until your roll gets bigger...

                          GL.

I've gone all in on several fights, mostly 2 man parlays. I feel more sure about MMA than other sports. When the 2 guys step into the cage (most of the time) they have to win - top effort. Daily sports games there's always that who cares we can get it back tomorrow feel. Also a lot of thought goes into what seems about 2 betting cards a month rather than looking at some over night lines.

I like going higher for MMA.

This is probably stupid, but I was astonished the first time I saw Jon Jones fighting, I said to myself I will bet on this guy martingale and I will roll over my earning. Damn, I didnt do it. I would be 15-1. Straight bet my ass. If you have the brain, the guts, the money and the inspiration there is no better advise that going for your dream. I only had the inspiration.

I didnt say parlay, I said roll over. My mistake I guess.
I meant to add some money in each new fight and let it ride.
That way the first 1000 would have win 14 times losing once. The second 1000 of the 2nd fight 1 would have win 13 time losing once....betting the under or the win before the 3rd round some time give you very positive lines as well.

                                                That's good bankroll management.

If your total bankroll is $10,000 you should bet less than $1000.

10%? Good? For whom? People fixing the games? All the money in one bet or 10% are good only if you are very lucky. You should play dice to see how getting 10 aces in a row sometime happens. Is is like losing 10 in a row of -600.
