#3That's what I'm saying...Baron is a much better distrubuter...But hasn't been able to do much besides that.
Baron still has the moves to get past most people and find the open man, but Lin better scoring wise offensively.
Love watching Baron play, always been one of my favs.
Ship him off to Orlando, let him throw 20 lobs to Howard a game.Comment -

#9Lin had a good game tonite. But, I seen that deer in headlights look from him against miami and jersey. Also, he's not able to finish around the rim like he was a week ago. As a knick fan, I want him to do good. But, I don't think he will be able to handle playoff intensity.Comment -

#10If baron is healthy and in shape I imagine come playoff time he's the guy.
I like lin but he couldn't even get the ball up the court against chalmers, a healthy baron would of shredded them if they full court pressed him all gameComment -

#11He is good. People just have to deal with it. He is not good enough to play in the All-Star game, although his stats match up with the best.Comment -

#16lin is still a work in progress. i think of him as rookie since he hasn't had much playing time aside from these last few weeks. if he can just get his turnovers per game down, he's got potential.Comment -

#18If it was any team in a market other than NY-LA, then Baron Davis would start. People would be aghast that you have someone that has Baron Davis's contract riding the bench or not get a ton of minutes.
NY can afford to have Davis on the bench from a money standpoint and not get the heat other teams would get.
Will be interesting to see how it pans outComment -

#19This is comical at best, obviously the people here that are pro Baron have never played (winning) organized basketball beyond middle school and most likely use ESPN highlights and boxscores as a barometer for analysis.
Baron is decent in second team stretches. Long gone are the glory days of being a Hornet or a Warrior for that matter. He's old, slow, a defensive liability and out of shape as usual. He had a lob or two while most of his assists came from Novak's hot hand against ramon Sessions and the Cleveland 2nd unit and you donkeys are ready to anoint him the new starting PG? RLY? Tell me, was last night's highlights of Baron reminiscent of the casual NBA watching you did when you caught highlights of Baron as a Warrior or Hornet circa 2002?
I'm not saying Lin is the end all be all, but a 34 yr old Baron Davis? Wow,Comment -

#23Lin's just getting better. Lets not forget the guys only started a handful of games now. Of course he has the deer in the headlight look against Miami, a team that consists of three of the best players over the last 6 years.
Give him some time to grow. He's much smarter than Baron and once he learns the intricacies of the game, Baron will be lucky to even be his backup.
Baron has no chance of starting over Lin.Comment -

The kid has some skill but the Linsanity is insane. The problem for the Knicks is Davis is on the downside of his career (a euphemism for he sucks now) so they will have to live with Lin's growing pains and have to hope he figures it out.Comment -

#29Lin wont even be able to get the ball across half court come playoff time. You must be the one only watching ESPN highlights. Because if you watched the miami, or jersey game, you would be scared for lin. You must forget that age in a pg means little. You need that veteran leadership.(See Derek Harper NY Knicks 1994). If Baron is healthy come playoffs< he will be the guy. If Lin does start, Baron will be the one playing the key 4th quarter minutes. I promise.Comment -

#31Not this year buddy, Linsanity is big money in ny and around the world right now, changing the two will not bring the knicks any closer to the eastern conference crown or nba title, so why would they kill the money train this year? Gotta ride it while its making everyone money!Comment -
