Unless you really like math, specifically prop and stat, it is most likely not the job for you. All you do if crunch numbers all day, everyday. The exams are frickin ridiculous too.

as far as actuary goes I do love math and have taken an intro calc course but not statistics and probability yet.

I heard the exams are some of the toughest in the world. I think that is how they sell students too. they captivate their interest in thinking it's the most prestigious job around. also , jobs are scarce
