of course that's the bottom line...but money management and amount put on bets also is a major factor. One must learn to have a check sent home then to learn how to stay ahead of the downturns which we all know will come. I now never leave a very big amount of cash in my accounts..if i make a score on a key wager i always have a check sent home and keep accounts at the minimum and go from there. Ive found doing things this way always keeps me ahead of this game. Ive been at this for almost 35 years now and its took me 25 years to figure out how to stay ahead or even at this gambling thing and i needed every year of those 25 to get it as close to right as i am at now...i'd say for the last 10 years or so ive learned the value of money management and how important it is to staying alive in this game and have stayed ahead of the books since doing that...first 25 years i did give my share of cash to them but im slowly but surely getting those early year loses back..still have some work to do tho as i lost alot when i was young and foolish with my gambling
