Is Jeremy Lin the next Tim Tebow?
Every time they show him he is playing great ball. In the summer league he was teaching Wall how to play. Before that he was a top college player but playing for Harvard, it didn't seem to count.. even though he put a hurting on good teams. So he finally gets a chance to play on his 5th? team?and lights it up.

Bill: Magic Johnson is endorsing him. That's high praise. More was expected out of Tebow. Lind has sprung upon the scene and even Deron Williams was amazed how he couldn't stop Lin.

Lin is fundamentally sound. Tebow is not. Lin has 1/2 the jumping ability of players in the NBA, but 2x the IQ. Mike D'antonis system will maximize Lins abilities. I think he can be a very good player.

Lin will be more talked about for his ethnicity than his religious views.

Good points. He seems to be the real deal. Chandler is too. I never really saw him play. He knows what he's doing and drags the D out of the lane. Every time Lin drives he's in the right spot. It should be fun to watch when Stoudamire comes back too and less fun when Carmelo plays. Maybe they can trade him for shooting guard and SF.

It will be Lin's team not Carmelo's

Lin played with more fire in 2 games than Anthony has his whole career

He saved D'Antoni's job. If he can continue play like Nash, pick-n-roll with Stoutamire and Chandler, that would fit right in with coach's system.

Carmello Anthony is mainly the reason why THE NYK is under 500% W. Maybe if he wasn't such a ******* hog they would do much better.

This is a classic Underdog story. Tebow was drafted very high and people chanted his name to play! Jeremy Lin wasn't Drafted, is freaking Asian and not tall like Yao Ming, doesn't have weaknesses like a weak arm and mechanics of Tebow. There is a movie to be made about this.

The NBA is lickin its chops right now. Lin in a major market and its NYC? D'Antoni too...Lin might save his job is they come out of this no-melo-stoud run with a bunch of wins. Larry Brown was breathin down his kneck.

Hate, love or in-between with Tebow let this Lin kid at least do the equivalence of throwing a 70yd TD in OT during the playoffs before crowning him

Better comparison is Victor Cruz. Plays in NY, undrafted, shines in first opportunity. Not the #1 star on the team but can be a difference maker due to sound fundamentals and quickness.

As a Knicks fan, I don't want Howard. He's disloyal to his team and is immature. I'm not doubting his great talent but there's no I in team. Ask Carmelo Anthony, ask Stephon Marbury. They could produce but weren't as concerned with the team and it shows while killing team moral.

There is no next Tim Tebow, although Lin did thank Jesus when NBA TV interviewed him yesterday.

All star numbers. It's not like he had the hot hand and hit 10 threes. He is methodically picking apart the d every time down.

Dude is a lot of fun to watch. He really simplifies the game and makes it look easy. More importantly, he has fun out there and his teammates feed off of his energy. Let's hope he sticks around and isn't just a flash in the pan.

won't last...defense's didn't really take him seriously and let him have free reign..lets also keep in mind he had 8 TO's last game.

No, football is a much bigger sport and not one person cares about the Knicks outside of New Yorkers, and most of them are too embarassed to care.

I saw a guy with a lightning quick first-step who looked adept at splitting defenders (not guys just letting him go by) as well. He also had a number of left handed finishes. Are you watching the same thing as me?
