Good to hear Shill Ivey is doing well...
Wonder after his score if I can expect my pennies (relatively) that are stuck in full tilt anytime soon...

So he won a 16 player SnG where these lame tourneys make the money list an even bigger joke.
Not really hard when you are not playing with your own money.

You guys keep saying he won a 16 player sng. Look at who he went up against though, its not just some above average players. Those are Legends he beat out. Ivey is the best tournament player in the world and if he played x amount of tournaments against someone, with x being atleast ten tournaments, he would have averaged a higher place against any player.

How can you be a "legend" in a game that involves luck of cards and bluffing?
Seriously.

They have these all the time, it always some "legend" winning since its the same players playing.
Let me know when he wins a WSOP tourney in NLHE.....he's probably played a million of them...

Yeh he would probably lose some but over a period i bet he would come out as the best. They dont play 250 000 buyin allt he time and even when they do play the 50 000 buyin, no matter how many times they play it, it still doesn't lessen the significance of winning it.

lol calling him the best for beating 16 players.
Reminds me of my home games where the guy who never played before got lucky when the blinds when up at the right time and won a few 60/40s and a couple of flips. Poker is a lot of luck, ONLY deep stack cash games with YOUR OWN MONEY over tens of thousands of hands can be somewhat measured.
All these "pros" just got lucky at the right time and have been trading each others bankrolls back and forth. They all borrow from eachother and have pieces of each other in tours. He prob swapped like 20% with like 5 players.
You idiots that watch high stakes poker and poker after dark think they dont share bankrolls? they are all loser degens that stole hundreds of millions of dollars from ppl

The man been killing the game for a long time. You obviously don't know poker. Calling Ivey lucky is the same as calling michael jordan lucky. Or whatever great you want to insert there. You are crazy man!

True. Dwan taking Ivey for over half a million in a single hand is classic. Both are great though. Dwan is the superior cash game and HU player. Ivey is a far superior tourney player.

Gotta love it, I mean he can get money from so many different sources is necessary...
Fukk it, live it up... very few get to live that lifestyle...
Im so tired of people saying how do these guys go broke, they go broke the same way we do...
When your exposed to that kind of cash you just increase everything you accordingly....
If you have 2 milllion bankroll, wtf is a 1000 winner mean to you?
