I think I'll take the Blazers here. Spread down to -3.5, opened at 5.

only a 2-game trip, migz. the kings should be well rested if nothing else, with this being only their 3rd game in 6 days. i'm on the kings m/l small. they've beaten the pacers, bucks, and laker at home. i'll take a stab at it.

I'm hearing Thornton may be back tonight for the Kings. He is very important to that team as he does all the little things well, and has nights when he can really chip in on the scoreboard. Every team needs those types of guys.

3. Line movement has gone against you badly, down from Blazers -5 to Blazers -3.5

This game's a toss up imho.

Line actually opened at -4...so not too much movement. Kings have been the team to fade this year and I just can't bet on them.

You're right Portland has struggled on the road this year, but they are the better team and should be able to win this one with ease I would think. Considering they beat the Kings by 21 at home and then 11 last week.

Plus the Blazers held the kings to 38% shooting in those games, and there defense was on point last night even if it was the Bobcats.

Thornton was cleared to participate in practice, but no-contact. He is out another 1-2 weeks.

Regardless if it opened at -5 or -4, it seems a bit odd that it went down to -3.5. I honestly thought this line would open similar to when Denver played in Sac last week, at -6. And Denver went on to blow out the Kings by 20+ points.

Something about this game is really off. I really want to take Portland, but I'm going to stay away from them. They are unreliable on the road, and this line just seems too off for me. If I'm on this game, I'll be on Sac + the points.

How so? They are flying high and confident after that 40 point win to Bobcats. If anything, this could be a letdown spot going into Sac.

I would be all over SAC but I see Dad is on POR so it is a no play for me now. I just can't bet against a guy who is hitting around an 80% rate this season.
