I think the committee wanted to give Murray State a chance to earn a good seed. As of now, I think they'd be a 9 seed with that joke schedule. Maybe with a win there they can earn a 6.

This bracket buster game will allow them to become more overrated. They should beat SMC fairly easy. SMC is a joke on the road, can't even beat Denver.

don't know why you reference my post and then talk about someone else but what i'm telling you is this... Murray State has only played 3 teams in the RPI top 100.

Illinois, on the other hand, has played 9 teams in the RPI top 50.

And Illinois isn't that great, hell, they aren't even top 25, but the point is Murray State's schedule is one of the worst in the country and you have to look at their record and realize that and judge them accordingly. When you play in that conference, you need to go out and schedule a brutal out of conference schedule if you want respect. They didn't do that.

Murray St. does not take care of the ball well enough on offense nor box out well enough on D to be seriously considered for anything. They are 171st nationally in offensive turnover % and real bad at giving up offensive rebounds against the garbage they have swept.

Against any big school team that has a ball hawking defense and a big man to board they will be in big trouble. They will go in no higher than 8 and will need extremely favorable matchups to advance. Nice team but they have some glaring deficiencies.

There so many flawed statements here

4-3 ats on the road this year. The loss at Denver is not that bad seeing how Denver is always a very strong home team. They also are 6-1 on the road this year.
