Dad loses tonight. Here's why.

I am assuming he's taking Charlotte because New York looks so "square". Fact is that Charlotte is the "square" play tonight. Everyone is thinking the Knicks are so terrible and the sharp play is to take the Bobcats catching all those nice looking 5.5 points at home. Line opened at 4.5 and has gone up to 5.5. And this is way earlier in the day before your typical Joe Public is betting. That more than likely was pretty sharp money moving it to 5.5.

Here's why the line moved. DJ Augustin is OUT. That's huge as he's the #1 shot creator on that team for himself and his teammates. His backup Kemba Walker is far from a good starter in this league, he's had trouble just giving them a spark off the bench. If you thought Charlotte sucked on offense, watch how bad they will be without Augustin. The Bobcats offense will be shutdown today and I believe this is the one factor Dad may be overlooking here. The Knicks may suck but at least they don't believe it. Charlotte sucks and they know it, they just lost by double digits to the Nets. You have to be really bad to lose by 10 to the Nets. Knicks by 10+ in this game and the UNDER hits as well.
