You think Obama has experience cause he went to a top university? Let me tell you sir, Bush also went to Yale, a top university... but that doesnt mean he has the EXPERIENCE to run a nation...

#143I think your the one that needs to read the constitution.. your one of those guys who protest in the street when you dont get your way arent you? Let's be honest, our entire governing body is in the best interest of the people.. we have hundreds of politicians who whether you think they represen the people or not, contribute to making decisons... if your so concerned about changing the world, why dont you run for office, or vote the ones out who you don't like.. you aren't changing anyones minds by your arguments, the best candidate will win come Nov.Originally posted by ryanXL977using patriotism as a guise to support a government that is no longer representing the people is about as weak as any argument ive ever heard
seriously dude, read the constitution

#144I did not say Obama was elitist. I stated that someone saying that going to an Ivy league school is more qualified than a hometown person that actually graduated at an Idaho university is an elitist statement. Bush graduated from Yale, and I don't see too many people graveling to him about how great and prepared he is.Originally posted by ryanXL977yeah, a guy who paid for his own college with loans and grew up in a single parent household is elitist

#145She's got more experience running a government than McCain, Obama, or Biden.Originally posted by TeamPlayerIf Palin became President, the U.S. would be in grave danger. Speaking seriously, you're talking about a soccer-mom who's only experience is being the mayor a small town running the country and dealing with Russia, Iraq, etc. (being governor for a few months doesn't count)
At least Obama attended America's best universities on scholarships and earned his way through law school. He's proven himself every step of the way, including defeating the powerful and rich Hillary Clinton for the nomination. And he has people like Joe Biden to help.
Who would Palin ask for advice? Dick Cheney?? oh my god!
Attended America's best universities? So graduating from Columbia or Harvard makes one qualified to be president? WTF?
Joe Biden? Help? What and since when?Comment -

#148JRS,
Bush never even attended most classes! He got all Cs and Ds because the university let him pass because his Daddy was super rich and important.
Barack Obama didn't have such help and he got all As. How can you compare the them?
You know what Bush did after his university days? He dodged the Vietnam draft and was getting coked up and drunk spending his daddy's money!
Obama, went to the southside of Chicago, and devoted his life to helping the poor. Eventually he went to Harvard Law School, again on an earned scholarship, and became the first afriacan-american to be in charge of the Harvard Law Review Journal.
Bush was still getting coked up every day. His daddy bought him an oil company to manage and what did he do? He mismanaged it into bankrupcy. He drove every company daddy bought him into Bankrupcy!Comment -

#171McCain knows how the game in Washington is played. I mean he HAS been there for 26 years. I give McCain credit as one of the better politicians. He had hardly any money, but was able to wrest the Republican nomination. The way he took Florida by getting the governor to back him 2 days before the election, and then recruited Huckabee to help half the vote with Romney was brilliant. I think he would make a very good political mentor.Originally posted by ryanXL977based on what. oh yeah, mccain was a powComment -
