living infortified American military bases in a different country doesn't mean shit. Because we've made ourselves hated all over the world, many American military bases have become so insulated that it's like living inside of a bubble, having 0 contact with the locals.

I've been to 20 different countries, always mixing with the locals and having learned to speak several languages myself.

Growing up we would go visit old friends of my father who alot of times lived off base..
