    Hilton Super Contest Check
Even though I ended up tied with the 8th best record in the Hilton Contest I got paid in the 10-15 bracket. Hopefully by posting this check it will give you guys incentive to enter next year.. Good Luck as always and keep cashing..

So 4:1 to take 8th place in a season long contest? Not that appealing.

    Sorry.

        You're not too bright.

So you're telling me that getting 4:1 for taking 8th place against "517 of the best handicappers in the world" is a good bet?

I think you're in the wrong forum.

These contests are a fukking waste of time.

I entered the Stations contest and I spent 40+ hours one week watching film and reading commentaries (I shit you not) and I went 9-1 AND DIDN'T WIN A FUKKING THING!

Next two weeks I spent around 20 hrs each, and I went something like 8-2, 7-3 AND I DIDN'T WIN A FUKKING THING.

You either have to have a perfect card or nothing. A perfect card is not good capping, it's pure luck. A fluke.

The other shitty part is you have to play the whole fukking card. What a waste of time. There's only 3-4 playable games on the card, the other games are as good as a coinflip.

I'll never do it again. Especially if there's NBA games to bet on.

NBA games + squares in Vegas on SNF = $$$

I take it back... for the fat whales that have a lot of money...

If you buy 4-5 entries at $50 a pop (each entry has 3 chances) I think you can win one week and if you're lucky, it'll be a week few others will win.
The prize is worth it. I believe it's $10,000 a week.

If I played 3 cards (9 chances), I could've gotten perfect cards maybe twice.

It's still a sh*tload of time to invest in a very risky gamble. But if you're a fat whale... what's $250 to ya.

Good capping skills makes going perfect much more likely. Luck favors the prepared.

LOL Hilton contests is fill with touts trying to use it to make a name for themselves so they can qualify themselves as an expert.

Fezzik won that thing two years in a row he has had one winning season since I have known the guy, and thats been since 1998 or so. Ask his clients how they did this year. Or better yet ask anyone. Guy lost over 100 units this year. which unless youre a complete degenerate coin flipper should be impossible in the NFL.

I saw Bill Simmons was doing really well in it but ****** up the last week...lol

Small sample sizes don't prove anything but fun to play I'm sure.

                            Congrats

The only thing the Hilton contest proved was that 517 people put their money where their mouth was ($1,500)to prove who was the best at picking 5 sides a week during the 2011 NFL season. Hilton Super Contest has nothing to do with any other sport..

You know what I can always do one at the KFC on 2nd and Alleghany or maybe K&A with all the crack heads. How about Pops water Ice in South Philly with Stevie Mazzone or better off Stevie Gans. Nah I think I might do the next one at 5th and Annsbury in front of Tierra Colombiana, now thats hood baby.
