How important are your points in your daily life and why?

I guess on a scale of 1 to 10... 1 being very important and 10 being not important at all.

I value my points at about a 3 I'd say. They are a big part of my daily life as is SBR. I don't really care about the monetary value, but that is definitely the underlying gravitational pull as to why I enjoy them. After being pro for a year plus I still have yet to buy anything from the store so I am going to try and do that this year.

I also love playing poker with them. I'd say without poker I'd value them at about a 5 because I am often times to lazy to use them in the sportsbook and have blown a shytload in the casino.

All in all points are vital to my daily existance under my current routine ... how bout you guys???

Honestly, lately I've found that far and away the best "value" is to use your points for charity donations. I've been doing that periodically, and it makes me feel 1)decent about myself and 2)like these points are actually worth a shit.

Also, I don't know if SBR actually WANTS to encourage more charity donations, since they do probably cost SBR the most, but I've long thought that if they offered badges (like the Doctor's poker tourney one) some of the guys on here would be more likely to donate. I don't know whether I should find that sad or not, but effective is effective...

Either way, just a heads-up to everyone that if you're going to blow your points in the casino anyway, or you really don't care much about them, donating them to charity is by far the best value and (needless to say) more worthwhile than letting them disappear into the SBR casino ether.
