Yea I heard that too earlier in the week, but then mort was on yesterday and he said that was a false report. Who knows though really.

Don't forget how bad orton played with this team this year, it's hard to throw the ball when your offensive game plan is, run, run, run, only throw on obvious passing situations.

Quinn is certainly not a better option given his past games.

Not too many playoff games have been won with the qb passing for 60 yards. If Pit locks down the run Tebow doesn't give them a passing attack, at least Quinn does.

Quinn does not give them a passing attack. This is like in San Fran last year when the crowd was chanting for David Carr, the people always forget how terrible the other guy is. It'd be different if they had a quality backup, then I could see them making a halftime change or whatever, but not for a terrible quarterback. That would be a lateral move at best.

I'm not saying Quinn is great, don't get me wrong. I actually feel bad for Denver, they got themselves into a mess drafting the guy and then gave in to fans to play him and the blind chicken found some feed and set them back even further. They would have been better off dumping Tebow, playing Quinn and drafting Luck. But I guess they wanted their cut of Tebow jersey sales.

Michael Lombardi reported they played him to please the fans, expected him to play terrible obviously, and then they would be able to move on with the rebuilding process. Jokes on elway. How tebow was able to win with such a shitty football team is a shock though, this is one of the worst rosters in the league as evidenced by last year and the 1-4 start..

Everyone plays prevent at the end of games, no other quarterbacks do anything close to what tebow did during that stretch
