Barack is 5 times worse than Bush, no debate about it. He took all of Bush's 'mistakes' and has compounded them. So to the 65 million or so people who voted for Obama I guess the 'I told you so's' could come from everyone else.
Since we have nothing to compare it to there is no way of knowing if Bush ended up being worse than Gore might have been, but there is only so much you can do the way the government is these days. Bush's biggest mistake was he tried to become a liberal at the end to try and fake people out and hep mccain going forward to lessen the Republican backlash. So what happened? Dems took over everything shit got screwed up worse than ever and mid term election people voted Republican again.
Which is why I say it isnt about the parties or what they want or the generalities it is about who spends the most to buy the guys they need to get their agenda taken care of. Plain and simple. Obama is clearly in over is head, and while he might not be for sale he has enough people around him that are so that he cant get anything done. And the stuff he has been able to get done (allowed to do) has been a disaster for most people, but a windfall for the ones that allowed it. he is just too stupid to realize it.
Like I say the only way to fix it is to start over. Get rid of the power guys and get new blood in there from time to time these people who are professional politicians and who make policy have been bought and paid for for life so electing ANYONE who stays there for even 8 years inst enough to have anything change. All the president is is fodder for the anti (pick their party) propaganda that these spin doctors run with.
Like I say it isd all a matter of perspective if someone makes a decision that helps you you love it and think theyre a genius regardless of whether or not it ruins the lives of 99% of the people it didnt help.Comment -

As for the war, some of it was valid, reasons probably not. Obama had two years to bring them back I didnt see him loading them on planes, took him until election time to run them into another country and then more than likely into Afghanistan which people should know will never fall. So if another 5K people die due to that will you all be blaming Obama for it in a few years? Doubtful, like I say it is all perception and what you read or hear or are told and what you know for yourself or at least try to figure out.
When the news stopped being the news and just became political commentary iswhen the US really got in trouble. Citing 'new' agencies as the reason why they thought something or made the opinion they did. Most of the time the news is reported from a very biased angle depending on what network youre watching, thats why I dont bother with the news anymore.
Thats why history is so screwd up and why most people who talk about history dont have a frigging clue mostly because they only read one source, generally a text book written in the most vanilla of ways that may or may not be right even being as general as it can be. So the history we live now will be recorded by whomever 'wins'. But the reality is that history is jaded and obtuse and there are no real answer to essay questions just opinions of the way things were approached at the time and how they panned out going forward. But even with hindsight as a guide most people still dont get it.
If Lincoln were president today and slavery still existed alongside the internet imagine what that would be like. Yet for most people Lincoln was the greatest president ever. But most people dont really know shit.Comment -
