You do realize we were using our back up secondary today? We were down more men than them, that pick didn't cost us the game, WR playing DB for us, the back to back mistakes by the refs with the fumble missed TD situation and subsequent loss of challenge, and i'm not complaining but the refs messed. The 4 points they took off the board is the game right there, Lions didn't play well on defense, a lot of penalties but in reality we were resting our beat up guys too, the game did not matter, it has no bearing on the playoffs,

I would rather play the Saints than the Giants anyways. Dome game is fine with me.

The Lions don't even attempt to run the ball.....Stafford has to do EVERYTHING for that team. He's a great young QB! On the other hand...their defense & coaching are horrible. If they run the ball on every 1st down (don't have to gain anything just run clock) on that next to last drive then they score and GB prob doesn't have enough time. They were in hurry up shotgun pass pass pass mode the whole game which is stupid? GB can be ran on...the 3rd stringer from the Bears ran all over them last week? Horrible coaching by Schwartz...hope they enjoy 48-27 next week

Yeah and I guess the Lions defense is as solid as they come too eh? Listen up dude, any NFL team that needs a win and proceeds go on and allow a mere 45 points against to an essentially fielded preseason squad describes the term 'choke' to the umpteenth degree and then some. Furthermore Detroit's offense, yes and obviously pivot included, did what was necessary for their part by putting up 41 points. Now if 41 points in this league isn't sufficient enough to pull out a victory, then I'd say the defense is the unit that 'choked' bigtime today and based on that fact, I'd say the joke's on you for this ridiculous thread.

The next to last drive for Detroit...they're down 38-34 with 5:01 left & starting at their own 7. They passed every play and scored with 2:39 left. Why couldn't Schwartz figure out that they needed to use some Madden game strategy and eat clock as they scored? You're in 4 down mode and they couldn't cover anyone all day...just run the ball and eat :40 on every 1st down. They do that and they score with maybe :30 left and even their scrub DBs could prob make it stand.
