Something like 5-25 my last 30 plays. Can't hit anything. Already down $1300 to a bookie and deposited $400 at 5Dimes and lost it in 2 days. I have $600 cash left. Should I deposit that again and hope to double up slowly?

Like someone said earlier that you should take a break because I think you are chasing your loses, and your confidence is down. It's never good when you chase your loses, because you just want action and action all the time to get your money back, and make picks that you really don't want to. I know that those are old advices, but if you still want action, how about doing less risky bets like teasers and money line so that you can get your money and confidence back.Comment -
confidence is very important. If you're not confident then walk away for a few days and re-energize your batteries. If you insist on gambling when you're low in confidence then I suggest you post your plays in here for the world to fade. I see no reason why going 25-5 is a bad thing for the rest of us.Comment -

I've been watching that Repo show and Pawn store or whatever the f it is on Tivo tonight. I swear I'm talking like a hoodlum now. I didn't know places like this really existed. I knew about pawn shops obviously but not ones who have people coming in trying to sell their dentures, a coffin, a stuffed dead dog, etc... And they're not all polite people! You'd think if you were hurting for cash, you'd be trying to schmooze the guys who have the ability to give you money for your stuff. Even though those pawn shows and even that Pickers one is kind of trashy at times, the amount of stuff you learn about is amazing. Some of these guys have insane amounts of knowledge about things that I would never have guessed there'd even be a market for. I'd love to work in a place like that for awhile... not really dealing with the customers directly but just shadowing them as they evaluate stuff. Love learning things that I'd never be exposed to otherwise. Or really never even think to try to learn about on my own.Comment
