Help me decide where to move to

Im moving on December 31st. I will not be paying rent in this town ever again, sick of this place.

Lets face it, its one of the beauties of doing what we do, we are free men. Im not married and I dont have a job. So I am free, I can do whatever I want.

Problem is I am having a hard time deciding where to move to. I have been considering Tahoe.... can't beat placing a bet, watching it win, cashing your ticket and going home. Boom. Hassle free.

You SBR folk can be very insightful at times. If anyone wants to contribute here with any ideas I am all ears.

And no, I am not opposed to going somewhere and getting a job.

Ive lived in san jose, santa rosa, rohnert park, vegas, lincoln city oregon, L.A, Reno for a couple months, Thailand...

And in 4 days I will be moving once again

Does all your stuff fit in a car? Pack what you like and just start driving. When you find a city you might like, stay in it for a couple days get a feel. If you like it stay, if you think there is something better, just keep on driving tell you know its right. Trust yourself...

you can travel 10,000 miles and still not get very far (the harry chapin song WOLD) you still have to live with yourself. unless you like winter sports tahoe will get old fast. wildfires and droughts in the summer no fun. the casinos there are old and dank. san diego worth considering. vegas over tahoe any day. not enough info to guide you properly. like where are you moving from?

Im leaving the bayarea.

I already lived in Vegas for 6 months. Was the wildest 6 months of my life, other than the time I spent in Southeast Asia. Saving money in Vegas is a virtual impossibility.

Oh yea, forgot to mention, I also lived in San Diego for a while. San Diego was nice.

Isla Vista has the most 10s-per-capita of anywhere in the world. I can't believe my eyes when I go to that place. Plus the entire city is right along the beach and there's parties everywhere you look.

Canada is an interesting idea. Always heard nothing but good things. And being able to use Pinnacle would be huge.
