The real problem isn't the uneven distribution of wealth; rather, it's knowing that someone else has more money than you. Look at it this way: what if everyone at your company knew everyone else's salary? It'd be total chaos. CEO salaries only became an issue when the SEC required companies to publish executive compensation and CEOs suddenly were able to say, "You need to pay me more than the prez of THAT company".
I say, make it a crime to tell people how much you make, how much you've got in the bank, etc. Anyone who gets caught bragging gets thrown in the slammer. Any publication that puts out lists of wealthy people gets shut down. Then, we'll all be happy.

I would have to say the wealth limit is put on the workers. The more a business has to pay
it's workers, the less he gets for expansion and his bottom line. Or is it?
This economy is because of companies doing what other companies are doing. One large
company will have massive lay offs, cut wages and benefits. The others will eventually follow.
Workers are afraid for their jobs and will save instead of spend, adding to the already fragile
economy.
Companies were already sitting on large amounts of inventory. When they were depleting
their inventory, they raised prices. This is why corps are sitting on massive amounts of money.
Instead of expanding during a normal recession, they are dabbling in the markets and making
huge amounts of profit. Why expand, when they can make money for nothing?
I can never understand how the free market works. People need to buy your product, but
will put their work force on wages comparable to welfare. If all companies do that, who's
going to buy their high priced product? Doesn't make sense.
Our govt needs a long term tax plan also. Corps need to know what their long term costs
are going to be. This can kicking, is only going to make things worse or continue.
Corps not paying taxes has to stop also. A flat tax over a certain amount would solve that.
US Corps stationed overseas, who are exempt from US taxes need their goods double taxed when shipping their goods here.
Yes, that would hurt the already struggling, but might bring those corps back to America
