Do you have serious problems sleeping? Do you use Ambien and/or other prescription sleep aids? They are not good. And your system becomes tolerant to them and they stop being effective. If you can't exercise which is the best answer what have you tried?

Actually this gambling stuff doesn't bother me at all. I don't gamble high enough, any more, to let it interfere in my life. I should drink wine more than I do.
In reality I did have this problem for years took Ambien and it was a disaster. I found a remedy that works for me which is a mixture of over the counter medication. When I take it an hour or so before bed with a little bit of milk it allows me to sleep and keeps me asleep for 6 or 7 hours.
I take one benadryl allergy pill and one Alteril which is a combination of l-trytophan, glycine and melatonin all pretty harmless stuff. I watch tv or read and within a short while I barely have the strength to turn off reading light or the tv and very shortly thereafter I am sleeping hard. It has worked for the past year or so. I hope that continues.
Just wanted to offer this up to people with the same problem. What works for one might not work for everyone but there it is guys and gals. I usually don't even try products like Alteril believing most of them are bs. But, to my surprise this one works for me. Not really expensive either.Comment -
