How is the security of the SBR poker room?
With the current firestorm surrounding Bodogs recent changes I'm wondering if you poker sharps can evaluate the SBR room and help us out?

Terrible. I quadrupled my stack in the currently running tourney and then had them all taken away by various forum members. I would like them returned immediately.

      1. You can not change seats at the table. Any other software I have seen, you can move your seat and stack. Here you are stuck.

As for security there is no money so why would anyone work at breaking it?

As much silliness is posted on here about the RNG, I believe it's genuine and secure. The volume isn't enough for tracking sites to worry about and it isn't for real money so there are no HUDS. If someone wants to write a program to mine it they could, but here is little incentive to. I believe we have a good product here.

JJ, perhaps now that you are a pro and such you should hop in for a game.

Colluding would be simple because it isn't monitored and no one would think twice about it.

Requiring the same password for the forum on the poker client isn't the best idea, but shouldn't be much of an issue.

I played today for the first time since March or April. I had no problems at all, in the past I used to be disconnected 3 or 4 times in every MTT.

I would find it really sad if people were colluding for SBR points but I guess it is inevitable that it will happen without systems in place to detect it.

No. No one including SBR can see whole cards.

Excel, I wouldn't mind a public evaluation of the software from a respected group. If you know of a solution you can PM Bill with a detailed bid including what we will get for the evaluation.

seems fine to me, John. I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary really. I agree with maron regarding the ability for players to shift seats at the tables, that would be a nice addition to the software.

Other then the fact I get constantly get sucked out on with straights and flushes or have my strong hands always be trumped at that very same time by another players stronger hand the last 2+weeks, its been great.

No one would go through the trouble to hack what amounts to micro stakes. Wouldn't be surprised if collusion was an issue especially with all the people multi accounting
