#10Stability
it has traded at roughly 1 to 1.5 for years against the dollar
easy to move with out raising eyebrows
top books all offer it as an option
once you get "set up" easy to reload
plus if worse comes to worse would much rather take a 6 hour flight to Heathrow or Gatwick and cash out right at the airport branch
plus I can than get Becky to buy me that lunchComment -

#14Go by currency strength, GBP is the best followed by euro. All depends on fee's too i guess but winners can work past that!Comment -

#20It has to be a currency that you can use at all books, so for me it could only be USD. Problem is of course that some 7 or 8 years ago, US Dollar was trading at 9 to 1 compared to Danish Kroner (DKK) and now it's like 5,5 to 1 or something like thatComment -

#21If you're American and you have it in British pounds, you'll always be doing the math trying to figure 'How much did I make/lose in Dollars'? At least I would.Comment -

#22Yeah thats what happened to me when I first started betting American Sports, I had some accounts in USD and some in GBP - and once I learnt a bit and started trying to standardise and control my betting stakes etc then it just got too complicated trying to figure out how much to bet on in the different currencies to try to stay within my Unit size, so in the end I have since tried to keep it simpler and all in GBP if possible.Comment -

Sorry, but it's never been to 1:1 and was briefly above 2$/£1 within the last 5 yrs . It's not even within the range you give right now...Comment -

#35The USD moneybookers accounts of sportsbooks are more susceptible to seizure if your site operates in the US
Your local currency is the best to avoid conversion fees.
If you have to choose, take the Aussie Dollar. The safest thing in the world right now.Comment
