Of All the High Profile USC QB's......Barkley Is My Favorite

I'm a big Matt Barkley fan......even though I'm certainly not a USC fan.

Kid got the short end of the stick becoming a Trojan right as all hell was breaking loose. I admire the fact that he chose to stay, even though he knew he wouldn't get to enjoy the successes of his predecessors like Leinart, Palmer, etc.....

Look at how much he's grown since his first start as an 18 year old. Unreal. I personally think he's the best college QB available, including Luck.

I've enjoyed watching the kid. I hope he decides to stick around one more year.

I agree. I like his level of intensity. He's going to be an NFL success. Leinhart wanted to be a pretty boy (overrated), Sanchez is blue collar, Palmer has a superiority complex with talent (but disappointing), and Marinovich was a surfer, drug addict that was average at best. At times he could be great but no consistency.

I like what I see from Barkley. He's got that Tom Brady level of competitiveness (not saying he's Brady) but he looks like the real deal.

Good QB but USC always has great receivers. Woods is one of the five best in cfb easy. Game is a lot easier when you have guys who run like deer with great hands who you can throw to.
