Interesting, though. Could add up to a great deal over the course of a year, at about 7 or more properties.
I read once about a bank worker who set up their system so that any pennies on someone's account got transferred into a dummy account he set up.
He accumulated a huge sum before he was caught.

Don't most Las Vegas books round down? It would be a huge waste of time to have clerks constantly dealing with pennies.

This actually is a bigger issue than you would think. Sure a few cents here and there seem like nothing but to do this 100s to 1000s of times each day adds the **** up. If online books started doing this sbr would be going donkey kong on their ass.

Many books both past and present have rounded to the DOLLAR and no one gives a damn. I have some locals that round down to $5. Vote with your feet if you don't like the practice but there's nothing inherently wrong with it.

Yeah, I always bet amounts that won't involve change, but I remember once asking for $550 on something and the ticket writer misheard me and thought I said $50, and the ticket showed $50 to win $45 rather than $45.45.
Pretty ridiculous to expect ticket writers to hand out pennies. It's bad enough getting stuck behind a guy in line who's putting in 30 five dollar parlays, I'd hate getting stuck behind a bunch of guys who need their change counted out.
