baylor was content to run out the clock to take it to overtime, but then stoops calls a timeout and they drive down for the game winning td.

Why would he do this??? I'm not sure how calling a timeout would have benifited them in any way...

he was banking on stopping them 3 times and forcing them to punt with great field position. only thing he forgot was his defense couldnt stop shit atm...lol.

I'd rather lose with aggressive play calling than try to back into a win. Guy showed confidence and his players choked.

no by doing so you're depending on your d that hasnt done shit all night. you take it into ot, you give your offense to match or win the game.

Don't be results oriented. This forum blows up with "OMFGLOL Stoooops HAZ BRASS BALLZ" threads if the Sooners cash the 2 point conversion, force a punt, or create a TO.
I'm so tired of chickenshit coaches punting on 4th and 1, playing prevent D way too early, run/run/pass/punt playcalling, and soft playing on offense so they can leave the game to a walk-on kicker. Stoops is one of the best in the game and has talent at every position. I'd take a coach who acts like he's packing 9 inches and expects the same of his players vs. the status quo good old boy who craps his pants when it's on the line.

They seemed to be too far down the field and not enough time to make this a logical decision.

I was thinking Baylor was further down the field for some reason...

Big Game Bob........ such a bad in-game coach. He can recruit, he can practice them up, but he makes such awful in-game decisions.
