floyd at least fought a healthy 154 oscar.....and it was floyds biggest fight to date at the time...and he decided not to take chances...he should have easily dominated oscar....but he took the safe route....but at least he took a 154 belt at 154 and from a legit champ in that class....and no...there werent many who thought oscar won...he got a gift card....but there werent many, if any, in the media who thought oscar won

Fighters perform better at different weights and some perform better against opponents who fight different styles.

if you really think that floyd barely won that fight,then i suggest you watch it again....and you have to consider that in the manny fight,a very shrewd freddie roach insisted that dlh fight at an ungodly 147 at 35 years of age....dlh had a tune up fight for manny vs little steve forbes about 6 months earlier at 150......which was the first time that dlh fought below the jr middleweight limit in 7 years.....in simpler terms,dlh hadn`t fought below 154 since 2001 !!...he fought manny 10 pounds below that weight at 35 years of age(145).......he didn`t rehydrate at all after the weigh in...a clear sign that he was beyond dehydrated......

so dlh dropped almost a full 10 pounds below his natural weight at the time......he was obviously a shell vs manny...he could barely move...it wasn`t as bad as chris byrd dropping to light heavyweight...but it was bad...
