Hey Rod what do you see in the Avs tonight?

When I look at this game I see Dallas winning. Dallas has been playing good all season 8-3 overall averaging 2.4 goals per game and only allowing 2.1 goals per game. Colorado seems to be comming back down to earth and their poor defense is starting to show after their hot start they have lost 3 of 4 and they average only 2.5 goals per game while giving up 2.75 goals per game so that shows me their record is better than how they have been playing. Actually 4 of their wins came in OT or shootout so that was cl;ose games that could have went either way.

when I see Dallas as such a small fav -115 that's a play that I usaually take every time so just wondering why you like Colorado maybe I'm missing something.

Only thing keeping Dallas competitive is Lehtonen. Varlamov is pretty good himself. The AVs look good in this spot tonight. This two teams are close to even all around, though I think the AVs have the better offense. Taking the team with the better odds here.

The AVS team is certainly different that last year's team. You can see it in the players, they believe that they can compete and get wins. However, I think the teams' hot start is not entirely telling of their true play, as they were able to put all of their youth into simply out hustling other teams. Now that teams are starting to find their skating legs, AVS will start to come down to earth. Not sure about tonight though, line movement supporting an AVS play...hope they get the win.
