#39I should make it clear that my business have transactions in the thousands in and out everyday, at the end of the day as long as it's a + trend, I don't have time to go over every transaction, I'm only upset with them because I have not gotten any real effort from them to contact me about the matter until SIX MONTH later with a notice of them wanting a 3rd party collection agency.
Either you're lying...
Or...you're the worst businessman ever.Comment -

#42Calvin Ayre is a better business man, than you.
He came out of the Russian Maffia, and has plenty of money.
Might want to think out your business plan a little better, and more important, make sure your life insurance and Will are in good order too............would hate to see your 4500 go to probate court.Comment -

Bodog can do absolutely nothing about this. For fukk's sake, they are an overseas gambling company - they have zero power to do anything in the united statesComment -

#50breaking kneecaps and all these non sense ppl are posting.... it will not happen. If you want to be a good and honest man, just give it back to bodog. If you need extra cash and don't care, just keep it. Nothing will happen to you. Collection will call you to harrass you but that's it. No negative on your credit report and nobody will come knock on your door.Comment -

#51Let me get this straight, you mix your business banking accounting with your personal gambling wire transfers?? No one in their right mind would do this. I don't even mix it with my personal banking, I opened a new account to keep everything separate.
What I think happened here is you knew about the $9k and deemed it yours after 3-4 months. Finders keepers. Now six months later bodog comes looking for their misplaced cash and you don't want to give it back. They can't touch your credit report and if they do try just send the collection agency a letter stating this is not your debt. The only negative aspect , and it may not be one, is you can't play at bodog.
Something about this story doesn't add up.Comment -

#53reverse things and have bodog bet with you until they lose it all back to you. if they win betting with you just send in their winnings and if they lose subtract it from the 9k. offer them bets at no juice and you both will be content.Comment -

#54i would hate to leave my wallet laying around with you waiting to pounce. pay up you deadbeat .... do it for your own good. ever hear the old saying "what goes around comes around" or ever hear of "karma"?? if you're even thinking about holding back payment, i guess your answer is no. so you're a biz man? then mr. biz man, put yourself in their position and ask yourself, what you would do if you were them. let me answer that question..... you'd be on here pissing and moaning about how they ripped you off.Comment -

#60This is such a stupid post. If you wouldn't notice 9K in your bank account, then give them the 9k back. Then you won't have to worry about having to look over your shoulder at night. if you really have a legitimate business as you say I doubt it would be hard for them to track you down.
My guess is you blew the 9k gambling, and don't have it to re pay. You should be fine, just lay low - they may not be able to track you down since the your residence is in your moms name.
And no they can't do anything to your credit.Comment -

#69Great thread, even better replies.... I like pretty much all of them, plus some others:
1) requesting Bodog's utility bill and passport(s) of employee(s) to verify their identity. Remember, the first fax/scan is never clear enough to read and the second fax/scan is too small. The third fax/scan "will suffice".
2) Charging a transaction and processing fee and slow-paying $500 / wire every 2 weeks. Remember to miss a few payments here and there for good measure and then stop everything for a month or two while the missed payments are "verified". After about 20% paid, be sure to tell them you can't process these transactions anymore and they will have to resort to cheque withdraws. Remember that Cheque withdraws carry a higher fee and sometimes get lost in the mail.
3) Tell them their IP has been linked to a known scammer and they will need to explain their relationship to a 'Candy Sanchez' before you can send anything. Make sure your replies to such correspondence are gathered from an ESL student as your local school or college.
4) Tell them its not 9000, its 18000 since you auto-credited the 100% signup bonus. Then offer them -120 lines and tell them its a 30x rollover before they can withdraw.
5) Might be good to send the T&C that says if they threaten your credit rating that you reserve the right to confiscate all funds.
6) Could maybe also just tell them you want 9K on some game and if it wins you can just hold onto this $ and call it even. If it loses, 18k on the next game, etc. Soon as you win one, you are even.
7) Seriously though you should for sure pay it back as its the right thing to do and its not your money., but doing some of the above comments first and posting the replies you get would definitely earn you a shiny SBR point or two from everyone here
