Michael "The Burner" Turner and it's not even close. No one can tackle him. He gains 5-6 yards after the initial hit and you give him the ball inside the 10 yard line it's an automatic TD. He has 45 TD's in the last 3-4 years.
Peterson has a scary combination of power speed and agility. He is like a LT in his prime with more power but worse at catching and blocking

AP runs harder than any running back in the game. I've watched them all and he delivers blows like no other back. Gore and turner are in same category.

Michael Turner is imo.
Isaac Redman's most underrated tough runner. He never loses yards.

Pavy, your numbers are right but Gore WAS the offense. Turner still had a passing game that opened things up.
But let's face it neither one of them will ever be an Earl Campbell.

LaGarrette Blount. Two TKOs in college and some more pending in the NFL if anyone steps up to him.

Gore runs with anger.
I remember AP at OK, he'd just run over kids like they were in High School.

Mojo and Turner don't go down on first contact boss...
Those are two of the best running backs in the NFL at breaking tackles.

Anyone see A.P. get flattened by Peppers yesterday? Sure he's a tough runner but not much of a blocker.

Frank Gore is the toughest runner IMO. Gore has great lean. Peterson is a great RB, but I think Gore has better body control and balance.
