If its for business, you have to be near Denver. Unless your business is skiing, then there really isnt anything else in Colorado. There is a ton to do, lots of hot chicks. In all honesty, take a hike while your there. The flat irons wont be too far away. Its one of those things where you think to yourself, "that just sounds like a waste of time" and then you do it and it just makes you feel good!

when you coming? I have a home in littleton which is a few minutes from there? Skiing is just getting started. Broncos games. Lots of places downtown to drink beer. Go up to estes park see the hotel where shining was based. You are basically in denver in you are in lakewood. If you like outdoors, you are in right place.

I would say denver is one of the nicest places in this country. People are extremly healthy and friendly. Not a lot of crime for a big city. Not a lot of diversity though as city is like 90 percent white, so that can be a problem for a lot of people. I came from the southeast where i was used to seeing people of different colors and I got to denver and I was like wow its all white people.

Colorado is one of the top places in the country for me.

Multiple things to do, if you can handle being off the computer for a few days.

I'm flying out tonight an will be there till Friday evening. It is work related but I am off after 5 pm Mountain time.

I was hoping there would be something to do gambling, casino, whore house related or sports bar to pick up or meet cute college or women in their 20's or 30's.

well. we have a otb at havanna park where you can bet horses, or you can go to arapahoe park but racing is done but still bet races.
As far as casinos you can head up to blackhawk about 45 mins from where you are.
if you like beer falling rock tap house in denver is good or the tavern downtown. i am 37 so dont know the strip club scene.

Your gonna be here all week huh ? You can always swing down to colorado springs and say high to the guy who won game 6 of the NLCS for you guys, John Maine.

There are alot of bars in the area! Thursday, friday, and saturday it is always crazy downtown, near coors field. I do security for lodos in westminster, but the one down town is huge. Its great if you like dancing. Right next door is the giggling Grizzly, which is the best dive bar in the world. there is jacksons down the street... its a really big sports bar. also, if your name is picked while your here, you drink all night at The Front porch for free.

Agreed. Denver is okay but I enjoy almost all the other smaller towns in the mountains much more. I go out to Colorado once a year usually and it never gets old. Lots of great Mexican food in Colorado. El Monte Grill in Fort Collins and Carlos Miguel's in Colorado Springs are both dynamite.

$150 an ounce for the headdiest nuggets, and the best microbrews in the country. Breckenridge Avalanche Ale and Ska Busta Nut Brown, off the top of my head. The Yardhouse in Lakewood is nice, has like 100 beers to choose from, and Earl's downtown is a classy, sexier Hooters.

I used to live in the Springs..denver is a blast lots of fun out door stuff to do..If you get a day off i would go up to black hawk just west of denver like 20 min to the old gold town there, they also have casinos. Also take a drive west on the 70 into the mountians. It is just a nice place to cruse around

Oh crap I am in some uneccessary dog crap drama right now. My boss just got chewed out by our head boss headquartered in Massachusetts here on our field trip to Denver. So he comes out and asks me to go get coffee with him and then starts ranting on about how Howard Schulz the CEO of Starbucks is an idiot for not having one of his chains just donate their entire year's revenues to helping start jobs for people who are unemployed in the USA instead of his plan of having his customers donate money to get wristbands and using those donation proceeds to help fund getting Americans more jobs or some crap.

So I start saying well you know what if your plan doesn't work because of the chain of command under the Star Bucks Inc heirarchy and stuff and he starts saying how bi-partisan politics is good for the country and I say no....we need more than two parties or else we will only be stuck with two options. This sucks if per say, both options are useless like in today's political climate.

THen he starts getting pissed at me and tells me to leave the room and take my note pad with me and have the report he gave me to do an hour ago on his desk done before I leave in another 40 minutes.

CRAP.

Now I am screwed. What do I do? Perhaps give him time to cool off from the chewing he got from his boss earlier?

id just let him blow off his steam. is he trying to imply starbucks needs a stunt like this to look good in the publics eye ? people dont buy coffee because the coffee store donates to charity, they but it cause its ******* trendy and they want to carry the starbucks cup around.

Wow had a great first night in Denver. This girl whom I met at the airport picked me up at my hotel in her Benz jeep wearing a sexy ass outfit with high heels. She first took me to John Elways steak house, but the one by the Ritz Carlton in downton denver. Ordered an 8 oz and some crab cakes with a glass of Merlot. Then we hit upsome local bar off of market street and took a few orw game shots before heading to this club called Suite 200. That place was packed with poon had a wonderful time there.
