Greedy! I've learned that is when I always get burned. Hedging guarantees you a good profit with the opportunity for the big score. Even if you hedged with 20k, you were still going to win 60K. Is that not enough for you to win in one weekend?

And , again. Betting on the live line fails for me, on the exact next play. I put some money on the eagles +135. Next play INT for a TD. Every time i bet on the live line, the next play something crazy happens to totatlly change the outcome and the line.


The worst part is i think the bet was still open and i bet on it, when the ball had already been INT. I had not been wathcing it on TV. however 4 seconds after i made the bet on NFL.com game day thing it said INT for a TD.

Btw, I'm still not understanding the lack of a hedge on these games? A 10k hedge bet on SEA ML would pay out 40k and a 20k hedge bet on BUF ML would pay out 30k. Even if they both lose, you're still looking at a 48k profit to work with on the Pats games, and can hedge there for a nice profit. If the parlay gets busted by any noon game, then you still give yourself a chance for a nice profit. At worst, you come out $20k ahead. At best, you still come out $70k ahead. Having a hard time wrapping my head around this.
