#38Cal's defense is terrrible this year. They gave up 33 points to Colorado and 31 to Washington. Oregon will run all over them. Again, like most one sided games, the back door cover looms over this game. Pass.Comment -

where are these people coming from?? do u guys even watch college football??
Oregon is a notorious 2nd half team (they had a bunch of games last year where it was close or even tied at halftime before they blew it open in the 3rd and 4th quarter), why would you bet on their first half spread??Comment -

Oregon is a terrible first half team, I think they went 2-4 ATS in 1h of home games last year
if you want to avoid a backdoor cover, just play a teaser, otherwise play it straight upComment -

that's this year, which is a bit of an anamoly
check out their home games against teams like Arizona and Stanford last year where they were down or trailing in both games. Oregon has traditionally been a 2nd half team because their uptempo style tends to wear teams down
just tease this game or play a straight up spreadComment -

#51its estimated that Oregon will win by 25..... Oregon this season on average only gives up 10 points in the 1h.... they also average 30 in the 1h.... on turf CAL has scored 20 points in the 1h but finished with 23 for full game.... Based on what braumabull saying that they're a second half team...i just dont see how they won't cover 24.... especially at home....In the two home games Oregon has scored on average 10 more points than all games combined.....Comment -

#52If Cal. does what they did last year playing Oregon then they will cover the spread. Of course they faked injuries on defense to slow down the Oregon offensive tempo. Will the refs let them get away with it?Comment -

I think the one main difference last year to this year is that last year Oregon was undefeated...They KNEW they were going to win all of their pac 10 games and didnt seem to try as hard in the 1st half. This year they have a loss and it has them fired up...They are trying to make a statement. That team has alot of talent and swagger, sometimes if you arent challenged in life you dont try very hard...Once you trip and fall it wakes you up. Just my $.02Comment -

anybody playing Cal in this game is fukking insane
I can understand a no play maybe, but fading Oregon in their home is the equivalent of going into a grizzly's bear's den and trying to get it to fight you
look at their homegames this year and last year and tell me what their average margin of victory is, and no cal is not a good team. They're a very average team that is really no better than nevada (better defense maybe but nowhere near the offensive talent than Nevada has)Comment -

#64man i told myself i was just gonna ignore all the junk you post. you just anger me though with the dumbass things you post. wtf page are you looking at where you get this bs info?...or are you just spitting out bs on purpose? cal averages like 40 per game, and several of the d's they have faced are not far off from oregon. they gain 450 ypg, and they have the 1st and 3rd best wrs in the pac 12 right now. they also have a pretty solid rushing game and a stout d front...2 things you need to compete with oregon. if you think there is no way this team can move the ball on a fairly weak oregon d then you are mistaken. maybe oregon covers, but they will need somewhere around 50 points to do so in my opinion. stop spouting out dumbass stuff based only in opinion like it is fact...and stop calling people retards just because they like the opposite side of a game. it is one f'ing game, and no good gambler is gonna go broke on a thursday night game.
so, are you retarded??
u just compared teams like Colorado and Presbyterian to Oregon
and who are these people here bashing Oregon's defense??? They only gave up about 17 points per game last year despite an offense that scores a million points in 3 minute drives that force Oregon's defense to be on the field a million times a game. Points per drive defensively (only stat that really matters), oregon was one of the best defenses in the country last year. Are we forgetting this is the team that held auburn and Cam newton to around 20 points last year (what is that?? 25 points below their season average??)
Oregon's defense has also been great this year - they dominated LSU's offense, but kept getting fukked by a million offensive turnovers by Oregon's offense putting LSU in great field position for easy scores (LSU only had 290 total yards in that game)
they dominated a good Nevada offense - they were up by 40-50+ points before Nevada got a bunch of garbage time points
they played great when it mattered against Arizona - they were up huge 35-3 before Arizona got some scores to make the game look closer than it really was. None of these garbage time scores mean anything because Oregon can give up all the garbage time points they want to give up as long as they're up huge
Cal is not a good offense, I don't understand these people here who think California is some powerhouse because they scored 63 points against presbyterian. Look at Cal's games last year against good teams - they only averaged about 16 points per game against Arizona, USC, Oregon and nevada, losing 3 of 5 by 21+ points
and you say Oregon needs to score about 50 to cover this spread?? Dude they've scored 48+ in 8 straight homegames, you're gonna tell me a team that allowed 34 points per game in 2 games against Washington and Colorado is gonna stop that trend????Comment -

#65just to avoid giving out misinfo myself...jones and allen are actually 3 and 6 in the pac 12 right now. i guess i was reading an older writeup by a reporter this morning...or maybe i just misquoted. still, i did just read a quote by kelly calling them "the best 1-2 wr punch this conference has seen in years". that is all for me now though. i have very little money on this game, so the outcome won't matter to me much either way. also gonna quit answering these stupid posts and bickering with people...just too many dumbass posts to keep up with. always on these games people get all worked up and seem to care more about saving face in the forum than actually making money. not for me though...i don't care what any one of you think as i am only trying to make money. pretty sad though as these forums used to be a great source of info. now you get...
oregon will roll these guys because they always win by a lot. just put all your money on them and wait for the easy money to roll in. come back and blow me later if i hit this weeks easy money play...even though i lose about half of the plays i say are easy money.
just a pathetic waste of space with no value at all to gamblers looking for info on a game.Comment -

#67ok now you are mixing in last year and this year stats? earlier you say last year don't matter...but it does when it suits you. oregon was up by this much BUT THEN...oregon was killing them BUT LATE IN THE GAME...who the f cares? every f'ing one of those tds count as far as the spread goes. and yes...i guess i am a retard. i have 1 whole unit on cal +24...mainly because yourself, along with the entire country, are on oregon and the over. doesn't matter to me though either way because it is only a 20 buck bet for entertainment. anyways...i am done. gl man with all your 80 point easy money fav's this week, and all you stanford -800 type plays.Comment -

This is very simple and I don't understand why you're having trouble understanding it
scores in garbage time mean absolutely nothing because it shows nothing about a team's defensive capabilities. If you're judging Oregon's defense in the nevada game on their 20 points given up (when nearly all of those were in the 4th quarter of a massive blowout), then yes you're a retard
If oregon is giving up garbage time scores in this game, then that tells you they will likely be up 35+ points and those garbage time scores will mean nothing towards the spread because the spread will be covered anyways
now in this game, I have oregon teased down to 17 points because I get to bring it below a lot of key numbers (below 24, 21,20 and 18) so it's just less risk in case of a backdoor situation. I have confidence that Oregon will cover the spread but look at what happened in that gtech game - a miraculous fumble returned for a touchdown bringing the play to a push. You never know what's gonna happenComment -

you post all over this place about easy money and many games...then you claim the ones you win and forget the ones you are wrong on. until you start posting every game you say you are betting in one thread before kick, don't ever try to claim a record in here man. i see you all over talking about what you are playing...but you come at me with 3-0-1. post that shit in a thread every week like so many have asked or stfu about your record.
you know what...it doesn't matter. as i look for posted plays by you i have to sift through many threads of people telling you what a dork you are. i will leave it to others man and just go back to worrying about football. gl man.Comment
