I'm liking the -13 1/2 first half handicap on Oregon.

#110Yup, safer to me too before it rises to 14 before gametime. Although it seems like there will be enough pressure on the cal line though so maybe it'll stay at 13.5.Originally posted by DemonataI'm liking the -13 1/2 first half handicap on Oregon.
My biggest bet right now is 1H TT over 23.5. Oregon's first half average is 31, Cal's defense is loose and can't tackle like last year, and yes, there is motivation to pound California. Read about it and you'll see that coaching staff commented how they respect teams that fought it out like Washington last year rather than unethical ploys like faked injuries. Cal's assistant coach admitted to the faking after the fact which was controversial. And Oregon's still mad the lost a game.Comment -

#111I took Oregon here. They are basically an automatic pic for me at home whenever they are playing an unranked team. There are only a few defenses in college football that can even slow them down. Cal will be done by the third quarter and Oregon loves to ad on points at the end.Comment -

#115So, Cal is better than Washington??? Ummm, didnt Cal just loose to Washington 12 days ago???Originally posted by pavyracerCalifornia is not the same caliber as UCLA. California is the 3d best team in PAC12 after Stanford, Oregon and about the same strength as Arizona St.
Pavy--you arent even close...I would say the best in the Pac 12 are Oregon, Stanford, ASU and Washington.
I live in Seattle and follow the Pac 12 closely (especially Oregon who I HATE). If this game was being played in Cal I might take the 24 points but since its being played in Eugene, Or and its on NATIONAL TV you can bet Oregon will run up the score...I have no doubt they will cover the spread and the over.Comment -

#117Yes I know they squeaked by Cal last year ...but it was a road big difference the Ducks at home on national TV Kelley is ruthles and loves to run up scores....yes I saw the game against Zona 500 yds given up but.........it was already over 35-3 on the road...Foles is a NFL prospect...Oregon 516 total yds ground 415 in the air 101............Cal let WASH put up 31 Colorado put up 33 and Fresno State put up 21..while they did holdPresbyterian to 12....take away the Presbyterian game how much better is Oregon than the remaining 3 teams 2 times 3 times better...you do the math I se 50 somthing to 20 something 30 plus p0int cover..........Line opened at 20 already at 24....public dos not bet early in the week......Vegas is counting on everyone looking at last years score and saying the only won by a few points.....lets grab 24......Comment -

#118Yes Oregon wants to run up the score on national TV. The question is can they? Will the tenacious Cal defense allow it? It's one thing wanting something and another thing being able to achieve it. Cal can go to any house on the road and be party poopers. That's what they live for.Originally posted by Pickem2winSo, Cal is better than Washington??? Ummm, didnt Cal just loose to Washington 12 days ago???

#119I took Oregon -23.5 , 240 wins 200 . CAL choked the oregon offense last year and held them to 15 pts. so now we have a home oregon game, with pride and revenge on the line

a tease of oregon and the over seems like a fantastic play - just need 56 total points and a 17 point win for oregon to cover and both should be automatic

brah there's good square plays and there's good sharp plays
alabama last week was a good sharp play, they were a good sharp play the week before
LSU's been a great square play all year
what does this tell you?? It tells you who the public is backing means absolutely nothing you imbecile. Public hits 50% long term ATS and gets killed on the juice. End of storyComment -

#138I took Oregon -6.5 first quarter and went a little bigger on Oregon -13.5 first half. Not really sure why, but I see an eventual blowout by 3tds+ with a possible late backdoor cover, which is why I'm staying away from the +24 spreadComment -
