I used to live in this dump in Santa Barbara...had these really little cockroaches...but they were invincible...I used to put a frozen dinner in the microwave for 5 minutes and I'd watch the little bastards inside the microwave running around the entire 5 minutes and they would still be alive when my dinner was done....crazy....

Roaches are one of the hardiest insects around. They'll be around long after nuclear war wipes our smear of humanity off the face of this earth. Best bet is to call the Orkin man and hope to christ they don't come back before the sale goes through.

Never had a single roach, but my basement has some pretty big wood spiders. I am terrified of spiders too, but starting to get used to them. They're big enough to be considered pets, and keep other bugs away pretty well...but fukk they're creepy.

Can't say that I have a roach problem. Living in Costa Rica though, I get the weirdest looking bugs in my house all the time. Scorpions and bigass spiders, all the time. I've finally come to terms that I have to share my house with whatever bug that decides to chill for a little while.

You need to mop the floors with disinfectant more often. If you live like a pig roaches will pay you a visit.

Borax works the best. Put it where they frequent but don't eat it because it's a poison.
