    Your most exciting gambling win?
As an Illinois basketball fan, I had big money on the ML of this game.

Game was crazy. Deron Williams, Luther Head, and Dee Brown... ugh, Illinois basketball needs to come back. Glad they won you some money though. Hope you didn't bet on them against UNC though... that game was unwinnable 5 on 8.

        For me it was this.

        The situation:
July 25, 2008. I had Jays. Jays had been trailing almost the entire game. They tie it up in the 8th to take the game to EI. Mariners get a run in the top of the 10th. Jays come up, manage to get bases loaded but also had 2 outs, trailing by 1 run. My heart was racing when Inglett stepped up to the plate. Then this happened.

One of the luckiest wins ever! 9/10 Ichiro catches that. Bounced off his freaking glove it looks like, unbelievable. Was also the most I've ever won on a single wager, so that added to the excitement.

LOL, yeah, didn't expect that kind of play out of Ichiro, definitely not 3 years ago.

Had a total degen parlay 4 years ago. 7 teams to win about 4k. Last game was the browns moneyline. The kicker hits the support bar and the ball comes out. They rule it no good and the other team celebrates and goes into the locker room. Then they reviewed the play and the rules and ruled it good. The browns won in OT.

Had Steelers -3.5 2 years ago

Steelers score a TD to take the lead, but then give it right back on a kick-off return for a TD

Steelers up 3 at this point, even if they get the ball back they probably just run it out. Somehow they recover a fumble off Favre and return it 80+ yards for a TD to win by 10 and cover ATS

What's the common theme we see in this thread?

For the most exciting moments to occur, you need to be losing your bet for most of the game.

It was 1987 January 11 I'm in Vegas, the guys back home patiently wait for my call. I phone bet Denver. The Drive begins with 5 minutes left Clev. had never allow 100 yds all year never mind in one rush. I'm DONE. During the game I felt like I was the only one who bet Denver.
I put big money on the game and so did the guys back home with the books. Give me a double. Then the Drive and the Win. I cancelled the car to go to the Grand Canyon. Took myself to a couple of shows and jumped a flight home, to a hero's welcome, and a big party. You see they all liked Clev. and changed their bet when I told them Denver. Very exciting to be their and WIN.

Yep, winning a bet that seems dead feels like free money.

Losing a bet that feels like its in the bank feels like someone stole from you though.

Though one of the most unreal bets I had was actually a push but I had no chance to push it looked like. I bet Michigan +11 1st half against the #1 team in the country Kansas and they were down either 21 or 22 point with a couple minutes left in the half and then go on a big run to close the half and push it.

most exciting was lebron leading the cavs back against the clippers from down 16 in the 4th quarter with cavs ML to finish a 8-team parlay.

also the last two superbowls ive predicted the person to score the first touchdown correctly. pierre garcon, jeordie nelson- thats fun and exciting even if you dont put much on it, plus it makes you look like a football guru.

I put a whole in my wall after slapping it open handed in mania after Dirk hit the go ahead 3. That was the point where I went from despair and belief they would lose series to conviction they would win it
