I'd like to keep my picks free and maybe monetize with a few ads but Google AdSense won't even consider a domain less than 6 months old. I don't want to consider charging if any laws are being broken.

My initial $50 investment was wiped out today with my plays on BOS @ TEX and CWS @ LAA. Once again I apologize for those who tailed me on the Rangers pick. I was running pretty hot for awhile but got a little too cocky and I just don't want to reload at this point.

    Thoughts?

Google won't let you run adsense on sites that link to casinos/bookmakers either. You would be better off advertising bookmakers and casinos than adsense anyway money wise.

Or go buy an aged domain. pool.com will be able to help you.

I remember when AdSense was just a matter of signing up. I guess too many people found this profitable.

Know anything about charging for picks? I'm assuming it must be legal because I've seen some sites that use PayPal to process their payments and PayPal is a HUGE stickler about abiding by the law.

I guess I am considering this as an option because I really like researching picks. Pretty much my favorite part. Obviously I would have to prove myself but definitely would keep all records open. Eh, still steaming about that Rangers pick but I'll get over it. Kind of like going on Tilt in poker.

Yeah... I just found this out the hard way. I paid for my first picks today just to see and I don't think much thought went into them. I won't disclose the name but they picked 5 baseball games and all picks were favorites.

You have to put in the disclaimer that your picks are entertainment only, and that you are not responsible for any laws broken due to gambling.
