IMO there is no value in betting an under on any man united match. The team is so put together that if they want to turn it on they will score at will imo. Alot of times it seems they toy with other teams. i dont know but Im going to try and wait it out live and if they dont score withing the first 20 minutes i can probably get over 2. Good luck though

I do not like locks, especially ones where you lay 45cents of juice.

Tottenham will be without Luka Modric who is supposedly on strike until his move to Chelsea can be sorted out. The trip to old Trafford is not a welcomed sign for Spurs as they have not won there since 1989. Spurs have not beaten United once in their last 20 Premier League meetings (0-15-5). During the midweek Tottenham battered Hearts 5-0, with Van der Vart and Defoe scoring before 15’ and Livermore, Bale and Lennon rounding out the win.

Possible starting XI: Defoe, Van der Vaart, Bale, Kranjcar, Huddlestone, Lennon, Assou-Ekotto, Dawson, King, Corluka.

United started their season off with a 2-1 win at Albion. Young keeper David De Gea made another mistake, but was let off the hook when Ashley Young’s shot took two deflections and went it. More importantly United lost their 1^st choice CB pairing of Vidic and Ferdinand as both were forced off injured. This means their backline will be Smalling, Evans, Jones and Evra. Johnny Evans is always shaky, Phil Jones will be making his home debut, Chris Smalling does not have the pace to deal with Bale or Lennon, and Patrice Evra is solid.

It’s tough to say exactly how United will line up tonight. At home they usually play with two strikers, but with such uncertainty at the back and Hernandez injured Sir Alex may opt for more midfield cover. Against West Brom United looked awesome with Young, Rooney and Nani combining well. If Dimitar Berbatov starts alongside Rooney two holding players will be required in midfield and Tom Cleverly will likely be the odd man out.

Last year United won this game 2-0. Spurs were fighting like beavers, but lost out to a Vidic set piece goal and this from Nani.

Under 3 might hit, but is not a lock by any means. When you account for the goal keeper problems and the lack of 1^st choice players in both teams back-lines it seems over would be a play. It is also important to note that every attacking player, besides Hernandez is fit.
