Wow you guys start school early there. My brother doesn't start until September 6th here in Michigan. Maybe you can call and try to get some type of refund? Worth a try.

2 things...

1. when espn takes a sunday night game, isn't the start time changed announced a couple days ahead of time?

2. first day of school? yeah i'm sure he would've missed a LOT. lol

refund? Because hes a girl and wont let his kids live a little? I think your kids could have managed to go to bed at 1030. Or hell go for the first 5 innings. A night game in beautiful weather and you make them go home? I would have killed my dad.

The rainout had absolutely nothing to do with it, the switch between Cardinals game and Yankees game for Sunday Night Baseball was announced two weeks ago.

Which makes it hard to believe that the OP didn't know about the time change already.

I would have still gone to the game. Stay at the game about a half hour past the kids bedtime, at the most, and have them sleep in the car on the way home. One to two hours of lost sleep aren't going to kill a kid. If anything, it will be a badge of honor for them because they got to stay up late on a school night.

It was known this game was Sunday night for more then a week now so try keeping in touch with reality for a change instead of setting a bad example for your children.
