#387Hey guys, I put myself in my first $150 12-team PPR league this year. I drafted with the No. 1 pick and the draft was a snake (I never want the No. 1 pick again!). I feel I made some “rookie” mistakes on my draft but I tried to follow tt’s advice. Should I start Garcon or Driver? Not a good question for a WR3 but that’s what I’ve got to work with. I can start 2 RB's, 3 WR's, and 1 Flex (which will be DeAngelo). Any advice would be a big help, thanks!
QB - Matt Ryan, Donovan McNabb, Cam Newton
RB - Adrian Peterson, Ahmad Bradshaw, DeAngelo Williams, Ryan Torain
WR - Mike Wallace, DeSean Jackson, Donald Driver, Pierre Garcon, Anthony Armstrong, Mark Clayton, Michael Jenkins
TE - Chris Cooley, Zach Miller
K - Nate Kaeding, Garrett Hartley
DST - Baltimore, Tampa Bay
WR and RB depth is a little shaky. If it is a PPR league, you have 2 great starting RB's. I dislike Deangelo, or any Panther RB for that matter.
Anything good on the FA list you can grab, by dropping Cam and possibly McNabb?
Good luck Spartan.Comment -

#388Need some help in picking two starting spots, need to fill RB2 and the Flex (WR/RB/TE)... my options are:
Brandon Jacobs (like his matchup)
Willis McGahee (think he'll tote the goal line carriers)
Mike Thomas (loved him with Garrard, now wish I had somebody else)
Ryan Mathews
Mark Ingram
Jared Cook (love the matchup)
So thoughts and suggestions are welcome, obviously if I want to start Ingram I'll need to within the next hour or so, but I think I'm going to wait a week and see how they distribute the rock, not to mention GB has a stout redzone run defense...Comment -

My team was projected a 172 and i scored 66 points. thats got to be some kind of a record.Comment -

#406TT and Group -
I've got a tough matchup this week and need every edge I can get. My current DEF is SD, and I want to swap out since they're up against NE. My remaining choices are DEN,IND,SF,TB. Most of the fantasy projections have DEN ranked as #1 and SF ranked as #3 in this group. However, looking at the week 1 numbers paints a different picture.
Matchup DEN v CIN:
In week 1 DEN allowed 23 pts and had only 1 sack and 1 fumble. DEN had no INT, TD's, or Blocked Kicks. CIN scored 27 pts and was sacked 4 times. CIN gave up no INT, no DEF TD's, or Blocked Kicks.
Matchup SF v DAL:
In week 1 SF allowed 17pts, had 5 sacks, 1 INT, and 2 Fum. DAL scored 24, was sacked 4 times, gave up 1 INT, 2 Fum, 1 DEF TD, and 1 blocked kick.
Based on how well SF's DEF did, and how poorly DAL's OFF did, it seems like SF is the clear winner for week 2.
I'd apprecciate any thoughts or input on this. Thanks!Comment -

#407I think there is much bigger risk reward with SanFran - Romo and the offense showed glimpses, at times, of being really good/great, and Dallas goes into games knowing they have to outscore teams since their D sucks. I could see Dallas scoring 14 and throwing 2+ picks/fumbles or scoring 28+ with no turnovers. So you could have it really good or bad. Denver is probably a safer choice, but that's because I'm not sold on the Bengals yet.
Tough call, if it were me it wouldn't matter, which ever team I chose the other one would have a great game...Comment -
