You are better off just laying the 100 on a single spin.
Win and take your money and run
Lose and at least it was over with quickly

I forgot to mention I takeded a $25 bonus UB gave me (after I withdrew my whole account, to try to lure me back to them) and Martingaled it at their "10 cent minimum" BJ table. It didn't take long at all to go busto. I can't remember how many loses that required, someone care to do the math?

Begin with $25 and you start a chase at $.10 cents, you'd be broke (or at least unable to cover the next bet) after 8 losing hands of black jack.
looks familiar, lol. I got to that twelve dollar and change bet at least 4 times and hit before missing it and then dumping the rest on the final losing bet. So it didn't take long at all (don't remember exact time, just that it was short) to have FOUR eight game losing streaks and then a nine. Of course this was single player on the internet, so I imagine I can go through a ton of hands in the time it takes to do one in a real casino.

Good luck... if you can win even one time and get ahead, quit 'cause eventually you will hit that losing streak and have your bankroll wiped out.

I walked in when it 12 already. A little drunk.
I played my theory, to get rich when on a long streak is running.
$5 same color, $ 5 on the repeat # and $1 green.
I hit the same number a few time.
But the streak of reds was 42 in a row till it ended.
Funny thing was it went one black and then casino went empty.
pics or it didnt happen

I takeded the casinos in Vegas for over $2K doing the $5/10 martingale when I was like 17. It was over 5 or 6 sessions. Needless to say it gave me a unfounded confidence and I losted it back the next two sessions.
Ah to be young dumb and full of ..... This was all before I ever read anything related to gambling.(back in 88 or 89) The joys and pains (stupidity) of underage gambling in Vegas.

Well, boys.
Here is how it went
I took a bankroll of $150 (a miniscule amount) to Atlantic City.
My original plan was to go to Delaware Park, and play $5 roulette until I doubled my bankroll...then leave.
So I'd need 30 wins, while never sustaining a 5 spin losing streak.
I walked in about noon on Saturday, and the casino only had 1 roulette table operating.. and $10 minumum. Shit, my plan was ruined. The $10 minimum screwed everything up. I had already drove 90 minutes, so Im like screw this, Im getting this done. So I drove another hour and 20 minutes to Atlantic City.
I want to say it was the Tropicana, but every table was $10 or $15 minimum, so Im like fuk it..I came this far. Im playing. Now instead of 5 losses and I go broke, now because of the $10 minimum, 4 losses and Im broke.
Oh well, lets rock this shit. I sit down. I was new didnt really know what i was doing. Dealer was rude. (most were)
So I place my $150 on the table. Dealer said inside or outside? I had no idea what that meant. So I just said outside. (turns out this was right answer)
So Im nervous. I sat out the first few spins until a pattern developed. I waited for 2 reds/2 blacks (like someone said on this thread) and then I played the opposite.
Win.....Win.....Win.......Win......oh my god, this is great. Its working. Now I have ugly chicks with fake breasts bringing me beers....this is the life boys. I had won like 5 times before I even knew what was happening. Boys, I never even had to go to a 3rd double up. I wasnt sweating at all. Im up like $25 in minutes..
Win.....win......win......easy boys.
Doubled my bankroll in less than 60 minutes. Had $300 worth of $5 chips sitting in front of me.
I thought to myself I should cash out and leave. I won.
But this was so easy, I'll just earn another $150, then I will go home. So i pocketed the $150 winnings and played with the original $150 bankroll again
I place $10 on black.....LOSS
$20 on black.....LOSS
$40 on black....LOSS
what the hell? Ok well this hasnt happened before, but I still have $80 in chips
$80 on black...LOSS
Damn it! Lost all my winnings
Martingale kills another victim.
Well, not really. I still had the original $150. I figured I had bad luck, it wont happen again.
I went to another casino down the boardwalk, bought $150 in chips and started again.
Here come the winnings boys..... WIN......WIN......WIN.......WIN......was up $40 within minutes again. This is awesome.
I took the $40 and took my chick to this place called Pickles Pub, was hella expensive for a jewish deli, but was good. Spent the $40 on 2 sandwiches.
I didnt care, the Tropicana paid for it. I was living the dream. My girl was liking it too. She had never eaten a $15 tuna salad sandwich. Hell, I never had eaten and $16 corned beef reuben either, but this is how I roll now.
Then I almost shit my drawers walking down the boardwalk, luckily i made it into Ballys, but boys it was close. I was holding my cheeks together running. I didnt even have time to put a seat cover down. Probably have an STD now. Those Jersey girls coming off the beaches looked rough. (Im getting off topic)
Back to the tables.
$150 in chips. WIN......WIN......WIN.....WIN. Just won 4 times, its this easy folks.
That was my last win. Lost 4 spins and wiped out $150. I only had $40 in chips, cant double up again. Oh well time to go home.
But it was well worth it. Had a fabulous time. Played for hours. Had a great meal. Got drunk. I learned a lot and I WILL do it again.
As you can literally pay for your trip by doing this...but some things Id do differently next time:
1. I need more bankroll. $150 is too small. (I won 15 times my first sit down, and only won $150, thats ashame)
2. A bankroll that only supports 4 losses is too small. You need to be able to go for 6 spins. I feel if I had the money for 6 spins I might still be playing.
This system works if you learn to quit while you are ahead. Because the losing streak will come.
But if you are looking to sit down have some fun, maybe win money for a night stay in a hotel or a meal. It works.
I lost, but didnt even lose my whole bankroll. Because I spent winnings and even when I lost, I still had $40 in chips.
Next time I go, I will do better. I will allow for more losses, while winning more per spin. And leave after a certain amount of wins.
Because the losing streak cant be avoided forever, but you can avoid it for a bit.
Hope you had fun reading this.
I had fun living it.
Peace

Martingale for 10 bucks a spin....But I'd sit out for 2 rolls until 2 colors popped up consecutive. Then place the 10 on the other color. Most I got up to was the 3rd bet. Wasn't sweating it 1 bit.
I checked the history (last 15 spins on the table) and none had over 4 in a row of 1 color, that was on 4 tables.
Turned 150 into 230 in less than a hour.
Went to play poker and lost 100 on 3rd hand.
Went back to roulette for a bit and won another 50, and walked outta the joint.
dude...the ball has no memory...it doesn't matter what the previous 1 or 1000 spins where
in fact since they installed the electronic displayss...casino rooulette tables profit increased around 60%...

I went to the Barbary Coast in 1992 thinking I could win $10 using the Martingale. I lost my first $10 bet so I bet $20 on the same color. That lost so I bet $40 on the same color and it lost too. I lost $70 in 3 rolls. Just my fukking luck!
I thought the wheel was rigged against me.
I didn't realize at the time that it was just the spin of the ball.

Like I said, I've never lost doing this although it has only been a few times, and I don't get greedy. I have 3 casinos within 20 minutes of me, and I hardly go. I make about 50-75 bucks each time, then leave. I don't try to double up, I win what I plan on, then leave. But I only go if I'm bored and have nothing going on, on a Sunday morning (cheap tables).
Jerm, looks like you should of taken the advice of not getting greedy. You'll eventually lose, hell you could of lost your first 4 spins, but you doubled up and should of left. Then again you drove all over the damn place, so I'd be pissed driving over a hour for 100 bucks.

I drove 3 hours.
But I'm glad I did. I learned what I needed to learn.
I'm definitely going to be hitting my 2 closest casinos up for 75 each every week.
Just like you do, ng. some people will scoff at such a small amount, but $75 is pretty much a day's pay for me. so if I can pop each casino for 75 a week, that will help me out tremendously.
it's really easy and it's fun. and if is it eventually loses, who cares about a couple hundred bucks ....I drank 50 free beers right?

When I was stationed in New Orleans, I went out to the riverboat on the West Bank one night to give it a shot. I started with a couple hundred bucks playing 2 columns on the bottom at $5 each. Sat there for like 2 hours to finally build it up to win a couple hundred bucks. Had 2 or 3 other people following my bets by the end as I sat there thinking about how I would be able to do this just 2-3 nights a week and buy myself a nice new sports car in no time at all! Actually got up off the table and walked away as the pit boss' gave me the look of death. Walked around feeling like I was a whale and actually convinced myself to take off for the night. Got to my car and hit the road for about 5 minutes before I convinced myself that I should shoot down to Harrahs downtown and take them for a couple hundred bucks too. No sense in only bankrupting just the one casino with my high dollar play that night right!! So I get down there and hit the table feeling like in no time they are going to want to comp me for anything I ask for and cater to my ever whim. About 20 minutes later I had lost all the money I had won on the riverboat and about 1/2 of my starting cash. Walked out dumbfounded trying to figure out how my unbeatable strategy had lost!
