SBR owners become millionaires in a few years.
Offshore industry is over in a couple of years around the world. USA is an example of legislation , what happens there today to spend 1 year in Europe, 2 in Asia and 3 in Latin America. The business will be betting for prizes such as electronics, pizza, burgers, chocolates, flowers, restaurants, golf lessons, etc.. SBR has everything to do just enough to start selling points and make a reduced juice sportsbook. Is the only thing that will allow, and lovers of the bets will be forced to do this.

Cala the rest of the world isn't going to make books close down. Governments have invested too much time and money in getting the process right and by setting up regulatory bodies to oversee everything. We just need to find a way to convince those donkey politicians in the US to open their eyes and see that other governments are making a fortune by legalising online gambling so the US will agree to do the same thing. Not sure how to do that though if it's even possible.

Sports betting will NEVER be legal in the US....maybe poker...but not sports. The leagues such as NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL are totally against it. As a US player, your only option is vegas.

They said the same about the leagues here in Australia at one point. Obviously that wasn't the case. Major sports would love legalised gambling just like they do everywhere else - it would increase ratings which in turn would increase their profits.

I wish. If they became available, I'd be first in line if I could afford them that is I was literally blown away when I started to work here and realised how much more SBR encompassed than just what I had assumed. I wouldn't bother to work for someone I didn't believe had a good business model as I've never been a part of a dud and I definitely don't want to mess up my track record now.

Beat me to it. Its totally illogical that the gov and major sporting franchises are throwing away the opportunity to open up a market worth potentially billions and billions of dollars to their pockets...

Yeah but the problem is how the f do you convince politicians - or even just one powerful, influential politician - to actually look at the situation rationally. As long as there are hardcore religious people who comprise a big voting block, I just don't see how it can be done. No politician will want to severely stick their neck out at a risk of alienating those people. Better they spend their money on scratch tickets or powerball that they have little to no chance of ever winning I guess? Awesome strategy when your economy's in the shitter.

I wouldn't trade my freedom to come and go as I please in the US for a million dollars. . . this idea would work but would bring undue attention.

I realise you're just being a smug smartass but I'll be straight with you since I'm bored: Bobby is actually making considerably more than that with his new job in addition to perks when you're an onsite employee of a corporation and would've stayed at SBR if the hours could've worked out. Hence the days of my trying to help him come up with a solution and then the resulting sad video when he accepted the fact that there were literally not enough hours in the day. Unfortunately when you're hired as FT it's kind of hard to figure out how to do PT because obviously you were hired because you fit those hours. Usually people build from PT up to FT not the opposite. I know for a fact that if a magic wand were waved and Bobby could do both he'd be back at SBR in a second. Regardless it is what it is. He's loved and missed but he's also enjoying the cash although not the weirdo hours.

I went to REI yesterday to get some stuff, hated every fukking minute I was there. Not many shut-ins in there.

Interesting post but if the SBR concept works beyond expectations I think it will be because there is good demand for a social network site of punters that has a fun rewards program along with low stakes gaming(excluding the US) and lots of contests and info.

Now I'd like to buy shares in SBR. It would be a great investment.
