$80 casino freeplay, is it worth driving 70 miles?

island view casino in gulfport mississippi. they will double any existing coupons you have for another casino (in louisiana, florida, alabama, and mississippi) for signing up for their players club. i have a $40 coupon for the treasure chest in louisiana and was wondering if it was worth it to drive 70 miles to get an $80 fp

pros:
get an $80 freeplay
get an additional $10-$1000 mystery freeplay for being a new member
get another $10 freeplay for registering my email at the promotions booth
possibly still get to use the $40 at the treasure chest depending how the system works
get to driveby/see/hangout at the ocean before/after because the casino is right off the beach

cons:
if i lose the 80 (which u have to bet) and/or the other FPs i would be no better off then i was and;
would of wasted about 2-3 hrs of my time
wasted a lot of gas (maybe $10-$15 worth)
take a chance of giving up my guaranteed $40 CASH from the other casino which is much closer to me

I played at island view 5 months ago but never joined their players club. I got slaughtered on their tables lol. They are in Gulfport away from the Biloxi casinos. Do they they take the coupon from you? or can you use it at both casinos?

i pm'd you but as to your last question there, im not sure because in my case even if they took my coupon the money is still loaded on my playerscard for my other casino so i was obv gonna try to use both unless somehow island view is able to void it thru contacting the treasure chest

hmm 4% thats interesting. yeah if u ever get a chance check out harrahs in new orleans, they got a whole bac room. and in my old hometown of chicago i used to go to the majestic star in NW indiana they got their own room as well, like 15 tables including 2 that have closable curtains for the extreme high rollers

I say do it, I drive 88 miles almost every week and I only get 15-30 freeplay. I prefer that casino to one that is slightly closer.
