#45warm and dry in sacramento today. comp says it's 91 right now.
love being able to go to the lakes/rivers and not have to pile on clothes when it gets dark.
seasons are more extreme inland compared to the ocean cities, but i'm only a few hours away from everything i want.Comment -

#46Correction.
Coastal Southern California has the best weather.
There are some really shitty areas in California like Fresno, Sacramento, Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Lake Elsinore, Hemet (where bigdaddyqh is from), Desert hot springs, ontario, palmdale, etc.Comment -

#51Depends on where you are out here. SD is nice but full of Mexicans, worse than most areas. But this time of year any coastal area is nice. Sometimes a little fog in the morning then by 9-10 it is clear and sunny. But rarely above 85 in any coastal area, and not too cool at night.
But the crime is what you really have to look at since most towns are going to have decent weather. Thats alittle bit more difficult to find, a town with lower crime.Comment -

#58santa ana winds, horrific brush fires, droughty, mudslides, earthquakes, mexicans, sure no cold but burnt lawns if there are even any costs a fortune to water them. did i mention the whole state could easily crumble into the pacific.Comment -

#59The lawn does not cost an arm and a leg to take care of if you k ow how to properly take care of it. It does not need a lot of water if u know what u are doing.Comment -

#62Was out golfing in the high 90's outside of Sacramento earlier today. Of course I was in a cart.
At least it is a dry heat.....Think I'd rather be outside in a 100 degree dry heat compared to a 90 degree humid heat like somewhere back east across the country.Comment -

#64I've spent my entire life in SoCal and never once lost a thing due to quake or fire. Those are excuses from people who can't afford to live here and/or are just envious of our weather and wonderful beaches. SoCal is far from perfect......parts are just ******.....but save the quake and fire bullshit for your doltish friends.Comment -

#65William, those that don't live here really Are afraid of earthquakes. I don't understand it too much myself. I have lived in ca my whole life and experienced dozens of earthquakes big and small and never been through one that I didn't think was fun. Nothing scary about them.Comment -
