The once-was Big 12 is falling apart. Although, unless Texas or Oklahoma leave they'll always be able to compete.

Texas signing their own TV deal will push the other teams out of that conference if they get a chance to go to another power conference.

Texas A&M already has more talent on their roster than half of the teams in the SEC.

You put them in the SEC and they'll attract even more talent. Those kids from Texas that want to play in the SEC will go to A&M.

They would succeed.

Because Univ of Texas is a bunch of money hungry bitches that continually screw over everyone else in the conference. Texas holds all the cards in the B12 and want all the money for themselves.

TAM would fit in real well in the SEC. I think it would be a great add for the SEC as you reach a big part of Texas now. I've always thought that the SEC should go after TAM or Univ of Houston. UofH could become a powerhouse in Texas with the right conference. They could eat away at UT's talent base in a big conference and the Houston media market is one of the biggest in the country.

It's been rumored that they were headed to the SEC since last season. The Big 12 is falling apart, with the moves made by Texas, this was inevitable. It's a good move for A&M in the long run. Gig 'em Aggies!

Texass has already ruined the former big12. I dont think the new conference has much of a chance. I think Stoops would bolt from OU, to coach Ohio St. If given the chance

Youre duff85 those 3 are the biggest losers in this deal. But those schools AD`S were on their knees for texass. Tom Osborn was always the desenting vote thats why they left.OK ST. Has piles of money and the rest of the old big 12 south will form some sort of league.

I cant wait to see the skers in the big 10. win or lose i think its good for CFB. And if your the SEC the best conf. In CFB. Why not take TXAM. and OU. And let texass become an independant.

Its been a terrible offseason for the WAC, a once up and comer, it has gone to complete garbage heading into this year. They lose Boise, Fresno, and Nevada and their replacements are Texas St, Texas San Antonio, and Denver... and to make matters worse, they failed to get Montana who would have been the best addition out of all the teams they were looking at adding. So to answer you question, in years past I would agree on how the heck did they get in but after seeing what has happened this offseason, its not that surprising they are in.
