Look at all these jack-offs taking the Orioles today.
Wakefield was in Baltimore by midnight...either way it's baseball, not football, tennis, basketball....they had to stand an extra hour or two yesterday.

The line bottomed at -122/+115 early this morning at Pinny, and has been slowly climbing since then. I think it is a great price for Boston, I hope I get my offer filled at +119 on matchbook, that would be a steal.

The most recent example of a team losing their next game on the road, to an far inferior team, after playing extra-innings the day B4 was when the Yanks lost to Doug Davis a month ago. Yanks played an extra inning game vs TX the day B4, then went on the road vs the Cubs to play a day game.

Obviously the key was to bet it last night. The line move was very predictable.

What are the Yankees 1-8 this year against Boston
Wouldn't even put this years Yankees in the same league as Boston in terms of motivation, statistics, etc.

Line again went down, now it is at -121/+114. I got filled at Boston -118 (and would be filled even at -117, but I left the offer hanging). I think it is a steal, but the way the line is moving I may not beat the closing line.

The Yankees are unpredictable day by day. But these situations do not compare, one was a trip cross country while Boston is just going up a coast line.

How is traveling from Texas to Chicago cross country? It's like a three hour flight.
Boston is flying from south Florida all they way up to the Northeast. It's probably a longer distance.
Flying across two states isn't cross country.

I like the Orioles today too. They can pull 1 game out against a tired Boston team.

I didn't like it but chose to use the Orioles for my Challenge today. Both Boston and Tampa Bay qualified on my system but like many I put a lot of stock in the late night extra innings and then travel on top of that. Baltimores wins are hard to come by and this is a spot where they should get one of those infrequent wins.
Course I thought I had something special with Detroit the other day and after I posted my play I looked around and everyone and their neighbor was on them not to mention they were a Rubberband Play.

Wakefield did leave ahead of the team.
They said it during the game. He wasn't there.

BALTIMORE (AP) - Orioles designated hitter Vladimir Guerrero has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a broken bone in his right hand.
The move, retroactive to July 11, was revealed by Baltimore manager Buck Showalter after Saturday night's game against Cleveland and made official on Sunday.
Guerrero has not played since being struck in the hand by a pitch from Boston's Kyle Weiland on July 10. He's batting .279 with seven homers and 31 RBIs.
Showalter hopes to have Guerrero back on July 26 against Toronto..
In other moves, the Orioles optioned left-hander Pedro Viola to Double-A Bowie and recalled outfielder Matt Angle and pitcher Troy Patton from Triple-A Norfolk. Angle, who hit .266 with the Tides, was to bat leadoff and play left field Sunday against the Indians.

red sox had to play defense all those innings, running around, making diving plays, for 5 hours.
