Good luck with that. I'm sure many of us will be more than willing to share our stories of the hoops we had to jump through just to get Moneybookers and Neteller to verify us. And we don't live in the States. If you think proxy software is going to get you an account there, you may as well not bother wasting your time.

Yup, it wasn't easy at all to get verified with moneybookers. It took maybe 3 weeks of back and forth communication, I had to provide so many documents, some of them notarized by the Costa Rican government, to prove that I live here. i wish it were as easy as getting proxy software, LOL.

Moneybookers and Neteller are EXTREMELY STRICT

You need real authentic documents, foreign bank accounts, foreign phone numbers

Initially you would automatically renew your PRO status if you had a specified balance at a qualified book (not sure on amount, $400 maybe?) Is this still the case or is this being removed with the changes going in effect?

I really think John is just trying to not get shut down as he is well aware of the many eyes that scan this site everyday looking for a reason to shut it down. Not saying SBR is a threat to anything .. but it is an open community that could potentially harbor alot of illegal activities, such as underage gambling, money laundering, point program used the wrong way... ect. I'm not happy with all the complicated rules, especially as I don't to really read through countless pages to find the information. I'm glad I have the opportunity to use the points that I earn to redeem for real-life prizes... but it is a hurt-piece when you start to take it away in order to keep the heat of you to protect your asset. So I'm guessing after August 1st alot of people are going to be transferring points to international folk in order to cashout.

I like the idea of rollovers for poker points, the ring games are so slow that I stopped playing!

But yes, I'm sad that US players can't participate in buying/selling points, and I don't see any word about sportsbook cash coming back for US players either

I think you guys have some good ideas on your changes. I do think the non pros deserve to be treated better though. I do think they do valuable input into the site. There should be more options for them.

All these complacations now. No 1st post requirement, seems SBR has too much traffic. Too many people reaping the benefits. Seems restricting US players would really help cut off alot of it.

Nice way to phrase a transaction directly to SBR. Whole thing is pretty messed up, rollover is ridiculous. Not gonna complain too much as it'll save me money in the end not having to deal with the shadiness here anymore.

Nothing more shady than paying nothing for a loyalty program where you get free goods, then being required to abide by the rules.

I've contributed plenty to SBR since I've been here. What I've got in return is minuscule compared to what I've given and now it gets worse. I understand it, it's a business but not going to be apart of it when it does nothing for me.
